Post-Occupancy Evaluation Of Traditional Villages And Towns In The Pearl River Delta Based On Space Syntax

Traditional villages and towns have inherited and condensed the characteristic cultures of various regions of our country,highlighting the unique regional humanistic spirit,architecture and traditional style.In 2018,the State Council issued the "strategic plan for Rural Revitalization(2018-2022)" for the first time to put forward the concept of characteristic protected villages,which covers the traditional villages and towns with obvious regional characteristics,prominent cultural relics or ancient architectural style,rich intangible cultural heritage and other characteristics;In the process of urbanization and new rural construction,a large number of traditional villages and towns lack of understanding of their own characteristic resources,resulting in desalination and destruction of regional characteristics in the process of development.In order to reverse this phenomenon,under the background of Rural Revitalization Strategy,the protection and activation of traditional villages and towns have been put on the agenda.In recent years,a large number of activation and utilization of traditional villages and towns have been carried out around the country,with fruitful results,but the effectiveness of activation and utilization is unknown.Therefore,it is urgent to establish a set of scientific evaluation system of activation and utilization.In the process of evaluation,we can find the problems existing in the current activation and utilization work,and refine feasible and effective activation and utilization measures,so as to provide theoretical basis and optimization strategies for the activation and utilization work of traditional villages and towns.In this paper,the process,current situation and related evaluation research of traditional village and town activation and utilization at home and abroad are summarized,and the post evaluation factor set is established by using spatial syntax,big data analysis,analytic hierarchy process and other means,referring to the relevant national norms,indicators and existing research basis;According to the characteristics of each factor,two evaluation standards based on spatial syntax,D/H analysis and AHP fuzzy comprehensive method are established.Combined with expert method,field research method,questionnaire method to determine the weight of relevant factors,and finally take qualitative and quantitative and subjective and objective evaluation methods to build the Pearl River Delta traditional villages and towns activation and utilization of post evaluation system.On this basis,four traditional villages and towns in the Pearl River Delta region,Shawan ancient town,Zili village,majianlong village and Huangpu village,are selected as samples to evaluate and apply them through space syntax Depthmap software,field survey,questionnaire method and fuzzy comprehensive method.Finally,it summarizes and summarizes the post evaluation results of traditional villages and towns’ activation and utilization,explores the effective activation and utilization measures based on the three aspects of space environment,characteristic protection and living development,guides the traditional villages and towns to fully display,inherit and carry forward their characteristic culture in the process of activation and utilization,and puts forward optimization strategies for the existing problems.
