Study On The Design Of Nursing Unit In General Hospital Combining Peacetime And Wartime

The SARS in 2003 and the COVID-19 in 2020 will become a symbolic node event in the history of medical and epidemic prevention,and promote the development of medical buildings in the future to become more professional and scientific.Just as a Chinese old saying goes,"A gentleman should prevent his troubles by thinking about them." Due to the sudden and unforeseeable nature of infectious diseases,we should change the thinking of preparing for the war and strengthen the active prevention and system construction to improve the public health epidemic prevention system.In the field of medical construction,as the mainstream type of medical building,general hospital should enhance its flexible and response ability,and play a more active role in the outbreak of the epidemic.Taking this as a starting point,this thesis review the construction of public health and epidemic prevention system in China,review the lesson and inspiration from COVID-19,analyzes the functions and deficiencies of different medical facilities during the epidemic,and summarizes a series of principles and methods for the design of "combining peacetime and wartime" of nursing units in general hospitals,for providing reference for the future general hospital to enhance the ability of epidemic prevention and response.The thesis is mainly divided into four parts.The first part based on the background of COVID-19 and normalization prevention and control,focus on the nursing unit in general hospital,we discuss its connotation and significance of the design of "combining peacetime and wartime",and summarizes the relevant research trends both at home and abroad,and expounds the importance of the design of "combining peacetime and wartime " in strengthening the public health epidemic prevention system and enhancing the epidemic prevention ability of general hospitals.The second part summarizes the construction process of public health and epidemic prevention system in China,analyses the functions and deficiencies of different medical facilities in COVID-19,and summarizes the inspiration of COVID-19 on the construction of public health and epidemic prevention system in China.It is mentioned that in the construction of the medical facility system,the general hospitals combining peacetime and wartime should be used as the second echelon of the reception and expansion system,and give play to its flexible mobility to expand the treatment capacity on the basis of centralized treatment of isolation hospitals.In the third part,combined with the author’s investigation of some general hospitals in Guangzhou,the author summarizes the problems and deficiencies of general hospitals in fever clinics,emergency plan,material reserve,nursing unit construction conditions and etc.especially the plane mode of nursing unit in inpatient building,which makes it difficult to transform.The fourth part includes the fourth and fifth chapters.Based on the problems above,the thesis discusses the principles and methods of the design of "combining peacetime and wartime" in the nursing unit of general hospital.Taking the design of the inpatient building in the New District of Pengpai Memorial Hospital as the main case,the thesis discusses a series of feasible means to give consideration to both hospital operation in peacetime and rapid transformation in wartime,and summarizes a series of specific design methods,including process design,function conversion,streamline organization,buffer space,classified treatment system,ventilation and drainage system,medical equipment and indoor environment and so on.And finally I hope that this study can provide a useful exploration for the future general hospital to improve the ability of epidemic prevention and response.
