Industrial heritage can be said to be an important part of human cultural heritage and an important evidence of the transition from agricultural civilization to modern civilization.Industrial heritage reflects the progress of science and technology,and plays a pivotal role in promoting the progress of human society.China’s modern industrial heritage also reflects the beginning and development of China’s modernization.At present,the domestic research on the protection and utilization of industrial heritage is still in the exploratory stage.After a century of turbulence,the Benxi Lake Industrial Zone has gradually changed from prosperity to decline,leaving a large amount of industrial heritage with a long history,technology,artistic aesthetics,and educational value.These priceless industrial heritages have supplemented Benxi’s tourism resources and provided rare opportunities to encourage industrial restructuring.Proper management of these industrial heritages that are temporarily unable to shine is of great significance to the sustainable development of Benxi City,and will also become a case worthy of reference for the protection and utilization of my country’s industrial heritage.Based on the analysis of the development,protection and use of industrial heritage concepts at home and abroad,as well as related research,this paper conducts research and analysis on the past and present of the industrial heritage of Benxi Lake,combined with years of planning and experience,and adopts the factor scoring method to evaluate the industrial heritage.Value is evaluated and researched.It also discusses the many valuable industrial heritage values of the Benxi Lake Industrial Heritage Group in terms of history,society,technology,and aesthetics,and conducts in-depth research on the value carriers and methods embodied in cultural heritage.Secondly,from the research and analysis of the current situation of the Benxi Lake Industrial Heritage Group,based on the evaluation results of the value of the Benxi Lake Industrial Heritage Group,it is proposed to use the “Industrial Expo A development model that integrates cultural creativity,landscape leisure,and livable vacation with multiple experiences as the leading factor and business tourism will carry out research on the reuse of the industrial heritage of Benxi Lake.Proposed specific measures for regional development and protection,discussed and proposed the protection and development plan of Benxi Lake’s industrial heritage in terms of regional functions,transportation,environment and infrastructure planning.This article aims to study the protection and utilization of the Benxi Lake industrial heritage group,and propose reasonable and effective methods to identify and plan the industrial heritage to protect and use the industrial heritage group.At the same time,recognize that Benxi City is a shrinking city,and formulate a reasonable and effective plan for the protection and utilization of the Benxi Lake Industrial Heritage Group.The research results and the formulation of protection and development plans are of practical significance.The Benxi Lake Industrial Heritage Group is being scientifically changed,wisely and effectively developed.They have important theoretical significance for strengthening the research theory of industrial heritage in our country.It is also an important reference for the transformation and development of old industrial areas in other cities in my country.
