Under the background of "adhering to green consensus and promoting green development",green water and green mountain is the development concept of Jinshan Silver Mountain.With the rapid development of non-agricultural and industrialization,the level of urbanization in China is increasing day by day,which brings about the waste of land resources,the inefficiency of space utilization and the destruction of human settlement environment.As the main way of space expansion,urban new areas also face the problems of space waste,single function,lack of leading industry and deterioration of ecological environment.In order to promote the coordinated development of economy,resources and environment,realize the efficient utilization of high land and space,strengthen the complementary advantages of regional economy,and form a harmonious and symbiotic development pattern between man and nature,the construction of compact urban new district came into being.Its idea is an important way to optimize the spatial layout of the new area and realize the intensive,efficient and sustainable development of the new area.It is also the key to the transformation and upgrading of the urban new area from rapid expansion to quality improvement.The concept of compact city has been supported and implemented in many countries and regions,which is the core idea and inevitable choice of green and orderly development in new urban areas.As a leading area in the construction of Shenyang New District,Shenyang New District has made great contributions to the development and reform direction of Shenyang." Urban Park " is the functional orientation of Shenyang New District.It is a further upgrade and expansion on the basis of " Urban back Garden ".Relying on the innovative resources of the university city,Shenbei New District will build a new and old kinetic energy conversion industry demonstration area in an all-round way,speed up the pace of construction,provide growth soil for the construction of innovative and entrepreneurial vitality areas,and release the driving force of innovation.With the vigorous promotion of the project construction,the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure,and the all-round development of the university city business district,it has gradually developed into a new growth pole in Shenyang,combining with the development goals and directions of the 14 th Five-Year Plan.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the optimization of spatial layout under the concept of compact city.As an important measure of spatial layout,compactness can provide basis for spatial layout optimization in Shenbei New area and guide its rational and healthy development.Based on the concept of compact city,this paper summarizes the development mode and path of new urban area,analyzes the present situation of spatial development in Shenbei new area,summarizes the main problems in spatial layout,selects the indexes of population,land use,transportation,economy and development trend,constructs a comprehensive index system of spatial layout compactness in Shenbei new area,analyzes the compactness of each index and comprehensive index in the past five years,provides quantitative basis for guiding the optimization of spatial layout of new area,and puts forward optimization strategies in order to realize the deep integration of economic development and green ecology of new area,and plays a practical role in demonstration of urban new area construction.
