With the advent of the information age,intelligent and parametric mechanical design has become a development trend.Parametric design data is a very promising research object in the development of the mechanical design industry in the next era.Parametric design uses the advantages of defining mechanical product parameters,dimensions,features and relationships to provide a more streamlined and standardized design overview for the mechanical design industry.However,parametric design applications are not ideal in today’s era,which greatly restricts the development of mechanical design data applications.In order to solve the problem of inefficient use of data in the design of each module in the mechanical design industry,a complete and high-efficiency data-driven software secondary development technical program was proposed.Through the research of Creo parametric design,this paper analyzes the advantages of parametric mechanical design in data extraction and application,which effectively compensates for the low utilization rate of mechanical design data,and proposes the extraction and application of mechanical design parameters The application of technology in the actual design process provides designers with more comprehensive data and at the same time increases the utilization rate of data.Starting with Creo’s parametric design data requirements,a data-driven software secondary development idea is proposed.Through the data-driven development idea,parametric technology is not only used as a model design tool,but also a design thinking method.The software development model created by this way of thinking and software technology.Based on a data-driven effective demand analysis method,that is,to create a system data flow diagram,that is,to collect the data that the system may input and generate to form system demand information.Data flow diagrams can be used to create structured analysis models,create process systems and divide subsystems.The parameter relationship established between the design constraints is output through the secondary development design software,and output in the form of design software to control the computer model flexibly.Through the calculation of graphics data by algorithms,the graphics engine can separate the parameters from the parametric design of the design software,and the design results of the model can be viewed during the design process,and the performance evaluation module can be used to perform parts based on the design parameters.Performance analysis.Through the secondary development and research of the API provided by Creo,a complete development process was designed.With Visual Studio 2010 as the tool,Creo 2.0 as the platform,and C++ language for code writing,two complete mechanical product design systems were realized.Based on the data-driven software secondary development technology program,through the design of standardized pick arrangement algorithms,the use of computer-aided design geometric calculation capabilities to realize the parameterization,flow,modularization and simplification of product design,and realize the software system parameters Effective combination with design models is of great significance to the mechanical design industry.
