Throughout the heavy truck manufacturing industry,the fierce market competition forces heavy truck manufacturing enterprises to focus on the development of core competitiveness.In order to achieve the purpose of streamlining the main business and stripping the auxiliary business,the heavy truck manufacturing enterprises choose to entrust the third party logistics operators to operate the logistics business.However,after years of operation,the tripartite logistics mode of heavy truck manufacturing enterprises has a large number of cooperative units,scattered and poor situation,and the logistics operation is too specialized,without the concept of comprehensive system,and lack of integration of technical strength.The company is one of the backbone enterprises of domestic heavy truck manufacturing.After years of tripartite logistics operation,a number of independent supply chain logistics management systems led by vehicle manufacturers have been formed.There are dozens of third-party logistics providers,mostly small and medium-sized enterprises,which operate independently and have not formed a large-scale logistics network.As a result,logistics resources and information cannot be shared and costs are difficult to control.The tripartite logistics system of a company is in urgent need of change.Leading logistics providers have the characteristics of integrated supply chain and overall logistics system management.In order to form an integrated supply chain management system and support the integrated operation of supply chain in the whole process of modern logistics network,a company needs to introduce leading logistics providers to restructure the existing logistics system.How to choose the right leading logistics provider has become a valuable topic in the management of a company.The primary task of evaluating and selecting leading logistics providers is to establish evaluation index system.This project firstly obtains 50 evaluation indicators through literature search,personnel interview and questionnaire survey,and establishes the evaluation system preliminarily.Secondly,100 questionnaires were distributed to a company for predictive test.After descriptive analysis and project-based analysis of the results,a formal questionnaire containing 38 indicators was obtained.After 300 formal questionnaires were distributed in a company,another 2 indexes were deleted through factor analysis,and finally an evaluation system consisting of 7 dimensions and 36 indexes was formed.After the evaluation index is determined,the evaluation model needs to be determined.After comparing three commonly used weight analysis methods,mathematical programming methods,probability and statistics methods and the relatively new grey relational degree method,it is confirmed that the grey relational degree method is suitable for the evaluation and selection of a company’s leading logistics providers.According to the multi-objective and multi-level characteristics of the evaluation system,and based on the characteristics of both qualitative and quantitative indicators in the evaluation system,this study adopts a grey hierarchy analysis evaluation model suitable for the leading logistics providers of a company.A company selects three original logistics providers on the basis of comparison and selection,and further carries out bidding evaluation in the three,in order to select the best logistics provider to upgrade to a leading logistics provider for optimization and integration of logistics resources.In the process of comparing and selecting the three logistics providers for bidding,the evaluation experts use the leading logistics provider evaluation index system established by the subject and the grey hierarchy analysis model to evaluate the pros and cons,and finally successfully select the results.The successful completion of bidding also further verifies that the evaluation index system and evaluation model of a company’s leading logistics provider are reasonable,effective and operable.The difficulty and core of this topic lies in the construction of the evaluation system of leading logistics providers and the determination of the evaluation model.Finally,a set of index system with 7 dimensions and 36 items was constructed,and the grey analytic hierarchy process(AHP)evaluation model was adopted.By applying the evaluation index system of a company’s leading logistics provider and grey analytic hierarchy process,a company selected the ideal leading logistics provider through bidding comparison.By handing over all the new logistics business to the leading logistics providers,the small and poorly managed third-party logistics providers are gradually withdrawn.This paper has certain practical significance to optimize and integrate logistics resources and improve supply chain efficiency of heavy truck manufacturing enterprises in China. |
