Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,as customer demand for products continues to increase,competition has intensified,and manufacturing companies have begun to optimize the layout of their workshops in order to quickly respond to such demands.A reasonable workshop layout is an effective means to enhance the competitiveness of an enterprise.In order to reduce production costs while ensuring product quality,companies need to provide scientific and theoretical guidance on the workshop layout,which can effectively shorten the handling distance,improve production efficiency,and satisfy Increase demand for products from company.The research object of this paper is the No.1 production workshop of Q company,which was built in the early stage of the establishment of the company.Compared with other workshops built recently,due to the some factors,such as expansion of enterprise scale and insufficient personnel level,the layout of the workshop has not been scientifically planned.The manager’s personally arranged the layout based on their experience,which has caused problems in the layout of the workshop,such as cross-handling routes and long-distance handling routes.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the layout the No.1 production workshop of Q company to improve the production efficiency.In order to solve the existing problems in the No.1 production workshop of Q company,the research process of this paper is as follows: Firstly,collect workshop production data through investigation,including workshop layout,product process flow,production logistics distance,production volume,etc.Secondly,find the problem of the workshop layout currently exists through FD analysis,use SLP to obtain the logistics intensity and non-logistics intensity between operating units in the workshop.then,based on a comprehensive correlation analysis to draw the location correlation map.As the existing area of the workshop and the area of each operating unit have already known,the location map needs to be appropriately modified.In order to eliminate the shortcomings caused by human factors,the genetic algorithm was selected to optimize the initial layout to obtain the final layout plan.Then,the production simulation was performed on the layout before and after the optimization,and the feasibility of the optimized layout scheme was verified by comparing the simulation results of transportation distance,logistics intensity,production status and the number of transportation crossing points.Finally,corresponding suggestions are put forward from the aspects of organization,personnel and system to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimized layout scheme.
