Research On Regeneration Of Historic Residential Blocks In Old City From The Perspective Of Vitality Construction

As a component unit of the spatial foundation of the old city,the development of historical residential blocks lags behind due to various social,cultural and economic reasons,and the vitality of blocks is also exhausted,which not only affects the overall development of urban vitality,but also has a negative impact on the traditional style of the old city.On the premise of respecting the original urban texture and history and culture,taking the vitality building as the starting point,seeking solutions and design principles,improving the spatial quality of blocks,and realizing the protection and coordinated development of historical residential blocks have become the key to the revival of old cities.Starting from the research background,this paper interprets the key words vitality,historical residential blocks and building regeneration,and puts forward four vitality elements.This paper sorts out the relevant theoretical and practical cases studied by scholars at home and abroad,sums up the regeneration modes and means of historical residential blocks in the old city,and discusses the regeneration methods and strategies to provide a solid theoretical basis for practical research.Through investigation,combining with the actual situation,this paper analyzes the vitality status of historical residential blocks in the old city,points out the common problems existing in historical residential blocks due to the decline of vitality,sorts out these problems,analyzes the reasons for the lack of vitality of historical residential blocks,and sums up five vitality building methods: integration of material space,continuation of old and new spaces,top-down policy,innovation of street facade and introduction of commercial format.Finally,the principles and methods of vitality building obtained from the research are applied to the practical cases of the renovation of the two courtyards and surrounding areas of Gongmenkou 4 in Baita Temple historical residential block,and the functional and cultural features of the area are fully excavated,and the unit renewal mode is used to guide the renewal of single buildings,rationally locate the architectural properties,and give new architectural functions according to the local development situation,so as to mobilize the regional vitality index.
