With the development of China’s expressway,the expressway industry has become the focus of social attention.The service facilities of traditional expressway service areas have simple service facilities and single-use functions.It is difficult for the industrial efficiency to be greatly improved,and it cannot meet the increasing service and consumption needs of the people.Therefore,it is urgent to stimulate the added economic benefits and social value of service areas through the model innovation and industrial transformation of the "service area+".However,at present,the construction of "service area +" in China is in the early stage,and its construction and operation mode need to be studied in depth.How to choose the construction direction of "service area+" is also a major issue for the expressway and the service area’s builders.Based on the review of the development of expressway service area,this paper expounds the basic construction concept of "service area +" and analyzes the use functions and characteristics.It summarizes the existing mainstream "service area +" construction models in China into four types that named "service area + tourism","service area +commerce","service area + culture","service area + logistics".By using Delphi method,evaluation influencing factors of the "service area +" construction model were screened out from the five major aspects: the project’s location environment,economic situation,land use conditions,surrounding resources and traffic conditions.Then the evaluation model of mainstream "service area +" construction mode is established.With the help of the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of the "service area +" construction impact indicators,at the same time,using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to rationally quantify the indicators in order to clearly present the evaluation results to achieve the comprehensive evaluation of the program optimization.Providing a scientific decision-making method for the mainstream "service area +" construction.Finally,by applying the evaluation model to the actual case of the "service area +" construction project,a more reasonable evaluation result is obtained,so that the operability of the evaluation model can be demonstrated,and it can provides reference for the decision-making in the construction of expressway service area.
