Architectural Design Research Of The Horticultural Exposition Commercial Pedestrian Street In Tangshan,Jiangsu

With the continuous progress of urbanization in China,the environmental protection and sustainability of buildings have been attracting more attention by people and relevant government agencies.Under this circumstance,China has begun to promote the development of prefabricated buildings and apply it to different types of buildings.In the process of various practical applications,prefabricated buildings inevitably encounter many social,economic,cultural and technical problems;therefore,the corresponding research is particularly urgent and necessary.This thesis is based on the commercial pedestrian street design project of Horticultural Exposition in Tangshan,with prefabricated steel structure application in the commercial street as a breakthrough point.this thesis summarizes the design methods combined with the background of the project,through the relevant theoretical researches and case analyses,in order to use prefabricated steel structure system to set up commercial street design strategies that can adapt to the hillside environment,interpret the space and architectural characteristics of traditional streets and alleys,and have rich and flexible space.It is hopes to provide positive guidances and beneficial references for the application of prefabricated steel structure in the supporting commercial street of the horticultural exposition and other small buildings on slopes.The first chapter is an introduction including the background,the research status,the purpose and significance and so on.The second chapter is combined with the theoretical research and the case studies.It aims to solve three problems of how to create a commercial street with small-scale traditional street atmosphere in the sloping environment,how to select the prefabricated steel structure system,and how to use the prefabricated steel structure to achieve the unity and flexibility of space.These cases respond to typical issues in the environment,space and green environment at three scales: city,individual building,specific technology and materials.Through the analysis of the above cases,there are some common problems in the design practice of the prefabricated steel structures and domestic commercial streets.The third chapter is the research on the design strategy of small scale prefabricated steel structure building on the slope of Jiangnan Region.Combined with the design premise and design goal of the small scale traditional building space in the slope of Jiangnan,the design strategies in the following five aspects are sorted out: modulization of building scale,vertical processing,spatial combination,coordination between construction standardization and flexibility,the treatment of the enclosure system.The fourth chapter is the application of design strategies.The design strategies obtained in the third chapter are applied to the design project of Tangshan horticultural exposition commercial pedestrian street.With the continuous progression relative to the site,architecture,new technology and new materials,landscape and other aspects,the final project was completed.The fifth chapter summarizes the architectural design research of the horticultural exposition commercial pedestrian street in Tangshan,Jiangsu.
