Research On The Strategy Of Enhancing The Vitality Of Public Space In Theater Buildings

At present,China is in the period of cultural renaissance,and the increasing prosperity of drama creation and performance market has promoted the rapid development of theater architecture.However,in the process of constructing theater buildings,the model of urban landmarks has been repeatedly applied,and the grand narrative of the buildings is isolated from the daily activities of the public,failing to play its social role of closely connecting the city and the public.At the same time,as an important public resource,theater building public space is an important part of urban public space framework and urban ecosystem.The multiplicity,mixture and complexity of the public space of theater architecture greatly promote the growth of public activities,and it should become the most dynamic place in the city.However,in the most theatre buildings‘ design,public space has not been paid enough attention.Some problems exist such as separation from urban space,monotonous external space,single internal space and tedious atmosphere,which lead to the lack of vitality of public space.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out research on the vitality of public space of theater buildings.From the perspective of space vitality,this paper discusses the problems existing in the vitality of theater building public space from three aspects: the material environment of theater building public space,the public behavior psychology,and the public behavior activities,analyzes the factors influencing the vitality of theater building public space,and puts forward the corresponding vitality promotion strategies,the specific content is divided into the following four parts:The first part is the introduction.This paper expounds the social and disciplinary background of the research on theater architectural vitality,defines the research object and content of this paper,and puts forward some research problems: how to enhance the vitality of public space of theater architecture.Then the relevant theoretical research is reviewed to further establish the research methods and the overall framework of this paper.The second part is the analysis of the questions which are raised in the first part.Among them,the second chapter is the basic theoretical research on the vitality of the public space of theater building,discriminating and analyzing the concept of public space and space vitality,and puts forward the vitality elements of the public space of theater building,and thus analyzing the current situation and problems,then summarizing the significance of improving vitality.The third chapter from the perspective of urban space,external space,internal space,public space atmosphere,and in-depth analysis of the theater building public space vitality factors.The third part is the strategy proposal.Based on the above analysis,the corresponding vigor promotion strategy is proposed from the above four levels.The fourth part is the research application,combining the above research strategies with the design practice of Haimen Grand Theater in order to test the effectiveness of relevant strategies.Based on the author’s engineering practice as a starting point,through literature,field investigation,case study,analyzing the problems existing in the theater building public space dynamic build,discuss the factors affecting dynamic theatre building public space,put forward to the design strategy which theater building public space dynamic is promoted,and provide help to the later researchers.There are total about 58000 words and 82 diagrams in this paper.
