Design Of Temporary Refuge Facilities After Disaster Based On The Concept Of Sustainable Development

Due to the large population of our country,a large number of temporary refuge facilities built after the disaster have caused a great impact on the environment.At present,the widely used prefabricated houses in China have a poor living experience,and the houses are uniform in shape.It is difficult to restore the original appearance of the ground after being demolished.The ground is severely damaged during use and few can be recycled.In this context,this article takes the concept of sustainable development as the breakthrough point,takes temporary shelter facilities after the disaster as the research object,and explores the design strategies and methods of environmental,social,and economic dimensions respectively,aiming to find more environmentally friendly,economical and economical design strategies.Firstly,this article systematically sorts out the concept of sustainability.At the same time,the concept of post-disaster temporary refuge facilities is defined as a structure with a physical spatial structure established due to evacuation needs after the disaster.It also analyzes the current situation of the four main forms of temporary refuge facilities for disaster relief tents,prefabricated houses,container houses and mobile houses,and summarizes the four major problems of temporary refuge facilities after disasters.Secondly,this paper proposes three design strategies for temporary refuge facilities based on the concept of sustainability,namely,environmental value-driven ecological design strategy,social value-driven humanized design strategy,and economic value-driven modular design strategy.Thirdly,this article proposes three design methods based on three design strategies,namely,constructing renewable space,creating foldable structures and combining modular units,which serve as references and pave the way for later design practices.Finally,based on the previous theoretical analysis and discussion,the concept of sustainability is introduced into the design practice of temporary refuge facilities after disasters.The design practice pays attention to the environmental protection of materials and construction methods,the life needs of the affected people,and the cost and convenience of construction,disassembly,transportation,storage and post-maintenance.The design strategies and methods summarized in the article are verified.
