Today’s manufacturing industry in response to the current uncertain market trends facing huge challenges,from before the demand for product quantity as the demand for the diversification of high quality product,and highly customized for new product life cycle is short,the demand of the product,manufacturing companies to keep lasting competitiveness,must ask its manufacturing system has a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness,and performance.Reconfigurable manufacturing system can rapidly change the system’s machining function and capability by reconfiguring the structure,hardware and software in the system,so as to achieve rapid response to market changes.Although the reconfigurable manufacturing system can respond well to the changes of market demand,it is difficult to choose when to restructure the system.In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes a digital twin architecture to predict the performance of the system.The specific work is as follows:(1)Aiming at the problem of when to reconstruct reconfigurable manufacturing system,combined with digital twin technology,a digital twin architecture based on reconfigurable manufacturing system is proposed.The digital twin architecture is analyzed and designed from the three levels of physical layer,virtual layer and information layer,and the collection and transmission of physical entity data are described and analyzed in the physical layer;The virtual layer is divided into two parts.The first part describes the digital twin five-dimensional model mapping physical equipment.The second part designs the flow logic of production products in the virtual manufacturing system,and builds a virtual debugging system to control and drive its logic;Finally,in the information layer,according to the order demand,this paper analyzes the processing function and capability of virtual manufacturing system,expounds its reconstruction method,and gives the prediction method of reconstruction time point and reconstruction interval.(2)When reconfigurable manufacturing system is reconstructed,its configuration will change.Different configurations have different processing functions and capabilities.Changing from the system configuration of the current production stage to the system configuration of the next production stage will have different effects on the selection of the time point of reconfiguration.In order to select the appropriate configuration of reconfigurable manufacturing system,the hierarchy of reconfigurable manufacturing system is studied.The functions of reconfigurable machine tools are divided at the equipment level and system level reconfiguration granularity,and a group of candidate reconfigurable machine tools meeting the processing functions are obtained;Then,taking minimizing the reconfiguration cost as the optimization objective,and according to the processing capacity of different configurations,the cuckoo algorithm is used to solve it.The optimal objectives are selected from the candidate reconfigurable machine tools,different configuration schemes are obtained,and the reconfiguration areas at different reconfiguration time points are calculated.(3)A digital twin reconfigurable manufacturing line is built,and the capability of the reconfigurable system is verified and analyzed to determine the reconfiguration time point in the case of multi-dimensional variable coupling.Firstly,the reconfigurable machine tool is constructed based on the digital twin five-dimensional model,and its modeling process is described in detail from geometric features,information attributes,motion model,communication script and control module;Secondly,the control logic is programmed in the virtual debugging software,and the digital twin model is connected through the communication module to control the operation process of the virtual manufacturing line;Finally,the simulation data of machining capacity of reconfigurable manufacturing system under one of the scheme configurations are given.Compared with the above calculated data,it shows the engineering practicability of digital twin technology in this field.
