Formular Student China(FSC)is a new type of education integrating production and competition,which enricifies students’ theoretical knowledge,exercises their practical ability,and deeply promotes the cooperation in all aspects of production,teaching and research.Follow the development trend of automobile,combined with domestic practical experience in colleges of engineering,Formular Student Electric Car competition(referred to as FSEC)held for the electric car industry in our country develop more excellent engineers,conveying fresh blood for the Chinese electric car industry,promotes our country automobile industry from "manufacturing power" to "power industry".In this paper,formula E racing car is taken as the research object.According to the rules of Formula Car race,from the design of the car’s assembly system to the assembly test of the car as the main research route,theoretical research,simulation modeling(ANSYS,CATIA,CRUISE software)and the field test of the real car are combined to design and manufacture a car that meets the requirements of the race.Safe and reliable,all aspects of balanced performance,good driving characteristics,easy to adjust the formula E racing car.On the premise of considering performance,reliability and processing cost,according to the design requirements of the whole vehicle,the size parameters of the racing car are determined,and the design simulation modeling of the frame body,suspension,steering and braking assembly is verified to be reasonable and optimized.Through the determination of the vehicle structure parameters in the first few chapters,combined with the dynamic performance objectives,after calculation and analysis,selected Shenzhen Earth and GLMP18L0 motor and its supporting motor controller AMC080,1 and 90 series of 3.7V lithium battery power battery,10 inch aluminum alloy rim Hoosier 43105 tire and other parts.And the vehicle electrical,control system design and research after the performance simulation.Vehicle performance simulation results: After the parameters of CRUISE software module are set,the range of 0-75 m acceleration time,maximum speed,0-100km/h acceleration time,maximum acceleration,and constant speed 60km/h cruising condition are3.87 s,170km/h,2.93 s,12.39m/s^2,98.48 km.There are some differences between simulation data and design target parameters,which will continue to be optimized in the later stage.Finally,the assembly and debugging was carried out until the real car landed.The driver tested the performance of the real car through the racetrack.The maximum speed of the car in linear acceleration and figure 8 loop test was 120 km/h,and the speed of 100 km was 3.1s,which verified the rationality and stability of the design.To sum up,the formula E car designed in this paper meets the requirements of the event rules and has good power performance and economy.The team members are still testing and optimizing it repeatedly in the future to prepare for the 2022 competition.
