With the continuous progress of modern science and technology and social economy,the reform of various domestic industrial structures is also deepening.All industries in China are facing unprecedented challenges.In order to keep up with the changes of market environment and meet the personalized needs of customers,enterprises must develop more new products to improve their competitiveness,and achieve the purpose of occupying the market quickly.Therefore,the production management mode of the enterprise has also been transformed into the mode of multi variety and small batch.In this case,how to improve the company’s procurement management to adapt to the mode is more meaningful.The research object of this thesis G company is a multi-variety and small-batch order-based production mode.Faced with the characteristics of wide variety,high quality,less quantity and fast delivery requirements,G company currently has a lot of problems,such as low on-time delivery rate,low procurement efficiency,relatively high procurement cost,difficult to guarantee product quality,continuous increase inventory value,weak supplier coordination and so on.Therefore,after learning related theoretical books such as procurement management,supplier management,and multi-variety and small-batch production management,combined with practical work,this thesis deeply analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the procurement management of G company under multi-variety and small-batch production mode.After exploring the reasons for the current problems,it proposes the procurement management improvement for G company from both internal and external aspects.Internally,the company implements classified management of the company’s multi-variety production materials and proposes targeted procurement strategies to improve on-time delivery;through strengthening internal communication,classified procurement,hierarchical control,and reengineering the company’s procurement process to improve procurement efficiency;through establishing partners and improving the level of indirect cost control to reduce the overall cost of procurement;through controlling quality at all stages of procurement to improve the quality of procurement;through comprehensive sharing the information,ABC classification method,and supplier inventory management to reasonably plan inventory and effectively control inventory value.Externally,improve the enterprise’s supplier management system by establishing a standardized supplier evaluation system;optimizing the supplier assessment and selection process;grading and refining suppliers and targeted management;and increasing the supplier detection and evaluation mechanism.At the same time,by obtaining the high trust and strong support of the leadership,establishing a professional procurement management team,improving the relevant control system and performance evaluation mechanism,and establishing an efficient information exchange platform to ensure the smooth promotion and implementation of the improvement scheme.This article studies the improvement of production material procurement management of G company.On the one hand,it effectively solves the problems existing in the procurement management of G company,as unscientific procurement method,unreasonable procurement process,incomplete cost consideration,inadequate quality monitoring,nonstandard inventory management,imperfect supplier management system,etc.On the other hand,it gradually constructs a scientific and comprehensive production material procurement management system that meets the current market demand.It can create a solid foundation for the sustainable development of G company in the future,and help the headquarter achieve its strategic objectives.
