| In recent years,vocational education has attracted great attention from the society,and the state encourages vocational colleges to cultivate high-level skilled talents facing the society.However,due to the short development history of vocational education in my country and the incomplete construction of the modern vocational education standard system,there is a huge gap in the vocational education industry.According to the survey,the students majoring in automobile manufacturing and maintenance in secondary vocational schools said that the training equipment parts were seriously lacking,the workstations were insufficient,and even individual training courses were arranged in the classrooms.It can be seen that the lack of training equipment is the fundamental problem affecting the development of automobile maintenance teaching.In this study,the use of virtual reality technology can well solve the problems of insufficient traditional vehicle maintenance teaching and training equipment,and the disconnection between theory and practice.Through virtual reality technology,a realistic vehicle training workshop is constructed.Students majoring in automobile manufacturing and maintenance use HTC Vive headsets.It can stimulate students’ interest in learning and greatly arouse their enthusiasm for learning,which is conducive to the improvement of students’ professional skills.In order to deeply understand the current situation of automobile maintenance teaching,the author distributed questionnaires to the students majoring in automobile manufacturing and maintenance.The purpose of this paper is to change the problems existing in the traditional automobile maintenance teaching.First,it analyzes the research status of virtual reality technology at home and abroad.Secondly,the theoretical basis of education and related technologies are sorted out,and the methods of interviews and questionnaires are used to understand that the traditional automobile maintenance teaching mainly has three problems:high cost,limited training space,and disconnection between theory and practice.In this study,combining the characteristics of the "Automobile Construction" course and the actual situation of the students,a virtual teaching software for automobile construction was developed by using the Unity engine.In order to verify the effectiveness of the software,the students of grade 21 automobile manufacturing and maintenance major in a secondary vocational college in Guizhou Province were selected as the teaching objects,and the part of "overall structure and maintenance of automobiles" was taken as the teaching content,and specific teaching activities were carried out for the students.Finally,systematically analyze students’ academic performance,classroom performance and hands-on operation,put forward corresponding solutions to existing problems,and continuously improve teaching.Practice has proved that the automobile construction teaching software based on virtual reality technology has achieved good results,and has been well received by teachers and students.In the virtual teaching scene,students have a preliminary understanding of the car structure,creating theoretical conditions for entering the real training workshop to learn,thereby improving the effect of classroom teaching activities.It can be seen from the experimental data obtained that the students majoring in auto repair have a strong willingness to apply virtual reality to the classroom in the future,which fully shows that this research has a certain reference value for the teaching of automobile maintenance in secondary vocational schools. |
