Virtual Maintenance training is the application of Virtual Reality technologies inmaintenance engineering. In this paper,a new virtual maintenance training system of thepower station boiler is created with many technologies such as virtual reality,computersimulation, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation etc,and a new approach and method is providedfor power station boiler maintenance training.It possesses work in this paper emphasizes onthe unitary solution and key technologies of Virtual Maintenance training system forequipments. In the end,the visual scene Part of simulation is presented by using the morepopular virtual reality software development MultiGen Creator and Vega Prime. Thesis isorganized as follows:1The overall framework of the system. The composition and implementation method fora virtual maintenance system of power plant boiler equipment is been analyzed. The systemconsists of three parts of the virtual maintenance system, the maintenance effect diagnosticsystem and power plant simulator system.2The several type models during the construction of the system and its constructiontechnology. The system needs the geometric model, motion model, interaction model and adetachable unit for power plant boiler equipment parts and repair tools. Several modelingtechniques in Creator software to create a geometric model of boiler equipment is beenintroduced. The method to establish motion model use Vega Prime has been studied. Theanalysis of the interaction model of interactive class constructor and basic interaction tasks invirtual maintenance by Vega Prime(Traveling, selection, manipulation and system control).The method to establish the relational model of the unit has been studied.3The Disassembly Sequence Planning in Disassembly process. The disassembly sequenceplanning techniques is used in virtual maintenance disassembly process. It can be dividedDisassembly sequence for the purpose of teaching planning and evaluation for the purpose of disassembly sequence planning according to the different application purposes. For thepurpose of the examination disassembly sequence planning, disassembly constraintrelationship-based interactive behavior planning. Disassembly sequence planning for teachingpurposes, we use a combination disassembly sequence generation method based onhierarchical relationships and relationships to achieve.4The evaluation of the maintenance effect. Fuzzy AHP evaluation method is used toevaluate virtual maintenance effect of failure. The basic principles and specificimplementation method of the Fuzzy AHP evaluation method has been studied. VirtualMaintenance Evaluation of failure has been implemented.5The Collision detection of the virtual Maintenance scene. Collision detection methodhas been studied. The full collision detection and response strategies is been define by VegaPrime.
