China’s Camellia oleifera industry is developing rapidly, and the planting scale is increasing year by year. However, the manual harvest method can only be used, mainly because of the complex topography of hilly areas, high planting density and large canopy of Camellia oleifera. In order to realize the transformation and upgrading of the oil tea industry, the mechanical harvest of the oil tea fruit must be solved.Crawler chassis is usually used in complex terrain and harsh environment.Based on the research results at home and abroad, according to the agronomy, soil, landform and other conditions of Camellia oleifera planting in China,a high clearance Camellia oleifera fruit harvester with four triangle track wheels was designed, and the virtual prototype test was completed. The main research contents are as follows:1.The planting pattern of Camellia oleifera in Zhejiang Province was investigated, and the design requirements of the whole machine were put forward. The scheme of the whole machine consequently. The three-dimensional model of the main chassis with four triangle track wheels, the mechanical vibrator and wheel spacing adjusting mechanism were designed. After that, the hydraulic motor and hydraulic pump for driving the triangle track wheel and the telescopic cylinder for adjusting the wheel spacing were determined.2.In order to ensure the safety of the high clearance Camellia oleifera fruit harvester along a certain slope, the stability of the chassis with four triangle track wheels was analyzed. The results show that the lateral ultimate roll angle is 46.93 ° and the longitudinal ultimate turning angle is49.24 ° when there is no load.In order to ensure that the harvester has enough rigidity and strength when driving on rough ground,ANSYS Workbench was used to analyze the statics of the chassis with four triangle track wheels under five working conditions: full load bending, left front wheel suspension, right rear wheel suspension, diagonal suspension and differential steering. The results show that: under the five working conditions, the maximum deformation and maximum stress of the chassis frame structure are within the allowable range, which can meet the requirements of mobile operation on uneven road in hilly area.3.The finite element modal analysis and modal test of the frame to support the engine and the main frame of the harvester were carried out.The difference between the finite element analysis results and the test results is no more than 9.7% on the engine frame, and is less than 11.7% on the main frame of the harvester.By analyzing the main vibration sources of the harvester and comparing the natural frequencies of the engine frame and the main frame,it shows that the engine frame and main frame will not resonate.4.The virtual prototype of the Camellia oleifera harvester with high clearance was established by using Recur Dyn multi-body dynamics simulation software. The simulation tests of its climbing performance, steering performance and crossing ditch capacity verify that it meets the design requirements.
