With the rapid development of fruit industry in China, the need of power machineryin orchard is growing. High clearance orchard power chassis is made for modern appleseedling management and new planting management of fruit trees, the walking system isthe core system to ensure the running balance and orchard management operations.This paper, based on the characteristics of the orchard and garden requirements, hasa research for the high clearance orchard dynamic chassis walking system, in accordanceto the principles of powered chassis,for the overall coordination of the various systems,it determines the high clearance orchard dynamic chassis used,with overall structure andparameters,and go on a overall design with power matching, walking-driven form ofhydraulic servo steering systems. It analysed some issues about driving characteristics ofthe driving force of the walking system, steering characteristics, the focus of stability andso on, taking into account the front and rear axles weight distribution in the context ofample power reserves, selects large adhesion of tire, to overcome the driving resistancein the steering process, due to extrusion soil, determines the chassis operating withmaximum gradient, low to10.It uses AIP software to model three-dimensional for the running chassis system, setsload boundary conditions for the frame and wheel bracket of chassis the core skeletoncomponents,in the actual material properties and operating conditions, on a finitingelement analysis. According to a comprehensive result, with Equivalent stress,structuraldeformation and safety factor obtained,improves the structural parameters, to optimizethe design, makes the safety factor structure ultimately controlled within the range of1.2to2.5, determining the final structure parameters.Finally, based on improved optimized structure,it designs and models detailed forthe walking system model, which guides to trial and process prototype of chassis ontechnical documents about three-dimensional model to generate drawings, the results, tothe actual prototype assembled and preliminary performance test,showed that,it isreasonable to the structure for the high clearance orchard dynamic chassis walkingsystem,and basically meet the design requirements, but also find some new issues thatneed further improvement.
