In recent years, the fruit trees planting industry developed rapidly and the fruitindustry is becoming one of the important channels for farmers to get rich. Cultivation ofhigh yield and high-quality fruit trees, is closely related to the quality of fruit tree seedlingsand rational management of the orchard. However, due to the overall low level ofmechanization of our orchards, there has few operating machinery specifically for fruit treenursery and orchard management, it is difficult to meet the operational requirements. Theexisting orchard management machinery independently carry power and walking device,also caused a waste of power and walking machines.In addition, with the rapid advance ofChina’s urbanization, aging farmers age structure and the labor shortage has becomeincreasingly evident, there is an urgent need for new type of orchard machinery which isflexible and efficient, safe, reliable and good adaptability. In this context, in connectionwith fruit trees nursery, as well as new dwarf anvil close planting orchard cultivation andmanagement job requirements, developed a high clearance orchard power site withtransmission mechanism and power output mode, in order to complete the orchardmanagement jobs project such as rotavator fertilization, to fight drugs, cultivation, weeding,and fruit harvest.The paper’s main work is as follows:1. Topics proposed for the problem with which our orchard mechanizationmanagement facing currently as well as the needs of farmers. Investigating and exploringthe domestic and international development status quo of the high clearance power chassis.2. According to the job requirements and working environment of the equipment,study out that the power chassis choose a rear-wheel drive form,motive power14.7kW;then according to the cultivation of fruit trees and orchard horticulturerequirements,determine the overall design parameters of the high clearance orchard powerchassis:ground clearance1100mm,dimensions2450×1700~1900(adjustable)×1650(mm), analyzes the working principle. To ensure that the power chassis can pass throughthe fruit trees easily,can work across saplings in fruit tree nursery.3. On the basis of determining high clearance orchard power chassis’s basicparameters, design and selection its main parts, including the determination of mechanicaltransmission program and gearbox selection; tyre selection and determination of groundclearance. 4. Use AIP software to create virtual prototyping of the high clearance orchard powerchassis and design the frame; The ANSYS technology embedded in the AIP module wasused to analyze frame model by static finite element, and optimized according to theresults of the analysis. The safety factor of the designed frame is3.9927, maximumdeformation is just0.5479mm, they can meet the requirements for safety. While working,the lowest natural frequency of the frame is103.28HZ,maximum interference frequency is73.33HZ,less property to prone to resonance, so we can know that the frame design isreasonable.The safety factor of the designed frame is3.9927, maximum deformation is just0.5479mm, they can meet the requirements for safety. Analysis and calculate the high clearance orchard power chassis’s traction, stability,and the matching with orchard work tools,then concluded:the high clearance orchardpower chassis not only meet the horticultural requirements, but also easy to operate, safe,reliable, practical, able to meet the needs of growers that one machine has multiple uses,inaddition provide the basis for new orchard to realize mechanization management.
