| Human-oriented design is the core point of design development.As the center of design service,people’s feeling of products is subjective,which is difficult to grasp through quantitative way.Kansei Engineering originated in Japan in the 1970 s.as a method to quantify the user’s feelings and extract design elements to guide the implementation of specific design schemes,it has been developed for more than 50 years.Its subject scope involves ergonomics,aesthetics,psychology,semantics,physiology and so on.Its application scope includes product design,visual communication design,interior design,service design and many other fields.With the improvement of users’ perceptual demand for products,it will be an important development direction of future design to quantify and extract the information of users’ perceptual demand,combine it with product design elements,and increase the design concept of perceptual component of product design,the research scope and application field of Kansei Engineering will also become broader.Agricultural tools are the basis of farmers’ production and are closely related to the development of rural agriculture and the quality of farmers’ lives.The problems of function,beauty and adaptability of agricultural tools have a significant impact on farmers’ production and life feelings.This paper classifies agricultural tools by functional classification method,and selects representative agricultural tools products to compare and analyze different types of agricultural tools in different parts of China.It is found that the characteristics of agricultural tools are related to cultivated land type,crop type,production mode and cultural characteristics.It is known that farmers have different psychological and physiological needs for different farm tools.Kansei Engineering,as a method to quantify the psychological feelings of users,combined with design elements and perceptual images,provides an important reference for grasping farmers’ needs and improving the design of agricultural tools.This paper mainly studies the Kansei Engineering and agricultural tools design through literature research,investigation research,comparative research and user interview.Firstly,the paper summarizes the theory and research status of Kansei Engineering and agricultural tools design through literature research,and analyzes the possibility and feasibility of combining them.Secondly,through the investigation and research method to collect the samples of different types of agricultural tools,using the comparative research method and Sichuan agricultural tools samples for comparative analysis,the differences between Sichuan agricultural tools and other areas of the country are obtained.Then,using the method of user interview and investigation,the perceptual images of different types of agricultural tools in Sichuan are extracted,the corresponding design elements are translated and adapted by the method of Kansei Engineering,and the design strategy of Sichuan agricultural tools based on Kansei Engineering is obtained.Finally,according to the development of agriculture in Sichuan,the design practice of tea frying(baking)dryer is selected,the consistency between user perceptual image and designer image is analyzed by feasibility test,and the correlation between perceptual image and design elements is verified.The idea of Kansei Engineering intervention in agricultural tools design is feasible.To sum up,this paper discusses the concrete ideas,methods and feasibility of Kansei Engineering guiding the design of agricultural tools from two aspects of theory and practice,and constructs the design strategy and design model of Sichuan agricultural tools based on Kansei Engineering,which provides the direction for the future design of Sichuan agricultural tools and provides a reference for the development of agricultural tools design field. |
