| Objective: By comparing the clinical efficacy of Miao needling combined with three-needle warm acupuncture therapy on the knee and the western medicine celecoxib capsule in the treatment of KOA and the difference in the level of interleukin 1β and TNF-α,the clinical efficacy of this combination therapy of traditional Chinese medicine on KOA was discussed.KOA’s clinical research provides clinical data and theoretical support. Methods: The 60 KOA patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group according to the random number table method. The treatment group was treated with Miao needling method combined with three-needle knee warming acupuncture therapy, and the control group was given oral western medicine celecoxib capsules. After 4 weeks of continuous treatment, compare the VAS pain score,Lysholm knee function score,TCM syndrome score,IL-1β,TNF-α,total effective rate before and after treatment between the two groups of patients, record adverse reactions during treatment, and evaluate safety.Results:(1)Comparison of general conditions: There was no statistically significant difference in age and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),and they were comparable.(2)Comparison of clinical efficacy: There was no statistically significant difference between groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the VAS pain score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were lower than before treatment, and Lysholm knee joint function score increased. After treatment, the difference within the group was statistically significant(P<0.05),and after the treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It shows that the two treatments can improve joint pain and dysfunction, but the clinical efficacy of the treatment group is significantly better than that of the control group.(3)IL-1β and TNF-α levels: serum interleukin 1βlevels and TNF-α levels decreased after treatment in the two groups, and the difference between the groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),The difference between the two groups was statistically significant after treatment(P<0.05).(4)Total effective rate: 30 cases in the treatment group,6 cases were clinically cured,15 cases were markedly effective,5 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 87%;30 cases in the control group,3 cases were clinically cured,8 cases were markedly effective, and effective 11 cases,8 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate after treatment was73%,and the difference in total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Adverse reactions: During the treatment period,2 cases of mild subcutaneous stasis occurred in the treatment group, and 3 cases of gastrointestinal reaction in the control group. Conclusion: Miao needling combined with three-needle warm acupuncture therapy on the knee and oral celecoxib capsule can alleviate knee joint pain in patients with KOA,improve knee joint dysfunction and other symptoms, and reduce serum interleukin 1β and TNF-α levels. The experimental results confirmed The clinical efficacy of Miao needling combined with three-needle warm acupuncture on the knee is significantly higher than that of oral celecoxib capsules, which effectively relieves pain and has fewer adverse reactions. |
