Abstract/Summary:
Cooperative learning is a product of modern social development and educational development promoted by science and technology. On the one hand, this new teaching mode provides students with a broad platform for learning and rich resources. On the other hand,it provides good conditions for the cultivation of students’ communication ability and team awareness.Although there have been many experts and scholars devoted to the study of cooperative learning, but for a long time,in the practice of English teaching in senior high school, more attention is attached to the formation rather than the real effect. In view of this, based on the full analysis of all kinds of advantages and disadvantages of the cooperative learning mode, this paper did some study on its application in English teaching in senior high schools.Especially aiming at the different English teaching links, including listening, speaking, reading and writing, this paper adopts different combinations of modes of cooperative learning. The article summarized two design criteria of cooperative learning mode, namely unity of teaching methods and teaching content and meeting students’ individual and diverse development’s needs. On this basis, aiming at the characteristics of listening, speaking, reading and in English teaching, the article designs the cooperative learning strategy based on multi-mode combinations. This paper seeks to integrate theory with practice. With the two classes taught by myself as experimental subjects,I try to conduct a one-semester English teaching experiment in senior high school using a way of a combination of multi-mode cooperative learning. And I made a comprehensive comparison with traditional teaching,so this paper is of certain theoretical significance and high practical value.
