Study On The Empowerment Of Community Tourism In Cultural Heritage Site

The lack of "community participation" theory leads to practical dilemmas.According to the requirements of practice,"community participation" theory develops into"community tourism empowerment" theory,but the basis of this theory cannot adapt to needs of China,so the theory encountered difficulties is inevitable and we need to expand its theoretical foundation.On this basis,firstly,this paper combined with its theoretical foundation and existing literature,defines the concept of community tourism empowerment and determines what is the community tourism empowerment.Secondly,from the perspective of stakeholder theory,participatory development theory,social exchange theory,and the perspective of sustainable development theory,demonstrates the purpose of community tourism empowerment,and introduce relevant system for ensuring tourism empowerment.Thirdly,introducing the content of tourism empowerment.From the perspectives of individual level,interpersonal relationship level and community participation level,based on the actual research results,this paper believes that China’s current community tourism empowerment should start from the individual level.This paper also summarizes the specific content of empowerment,and the scale of tourism empowerment.Fourthly,through the analysis of the existing literature,and combined with Four-Type power theory,this paper also introduces the existing empowerment path.Based on the analysis of its advantages and disadvantages,a new empowerment path is proposed.Fifthly,according to results of Wudang Mountain survey,this paper analyses evaluation of empowerment from the whole and part.And on this basis,propose counter measures based on the Four-Type power theory.The conclusions are as follows:empowerment should not be based on "ownership of property rights";community tourism empowerment often involves three levels:individual,interpersonal and community.According to the Chinese situation,the empowerment of tourism should be based on individual level.About the path of empowerment,this paper believes that based on the Four-Type power theory,starting from power over,power with,power within and power to,and achieve the empowerment of community residents.
