| Chinese"engagement"type virtual verbs do not attract enough attention in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,especially"engagement"type virtual verbs"zuo(做)""zuo(作)""gan(干)""gao(搞)"and"jinxing(进行)",these are Class A words in Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Graded Outline of Chinese Characters.Class A words are the basis for learning Chinese and the first vocabulary that foreign students must master.However,according to the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,this paper makes an exhaustive study about the virtual verbs"zuo(做)""zuo(作)""gan(干)""gao(搞)"and"jinxing(进行)",the collocations of which is output by foreign students in writing.As a result,it shows inauthentic and inaccurate.Based on this,this article uses the corpus of foreign students(mainly including the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,the interlanguage Corpus of Jinan University,the interlanguage Corpus of Sun Yat-sen University)and Chinese native Speaker Corpus(the modern Chinese Universal Corpus of the State Language Commission),by using the methods Corpus Research,statistics and data analysis,the patterns of the virtual verbs"zuo(做)""zuo(作)""gan(干)""gao(搞)"and"jinxing(进行)"are extracted from the foreign students’Corpus.Meanwhile,this study is compared with Peng Haiyan(2015)in terms of patterns extracted from Chinese native Speaker Corpus.This paper also introduce Chi-square test to illustrate some point.chi-square test was used to detect the marked differences between Chinese native Speaker and foreign students in the use of the verbs"zuo(做)""zuo(作)""gan(干)""gao(搞)"and"jinxing(进行)",and to explain the reasons for the differences.Through the comparative analysis,it is found that the foreign students overuse or underuse the virtual verbs"zuo(做)""zuo(作)""gan(干)""gao(搞)"and"jinxing(进行)",some of them are unreasonable on the compilation of teaching materials.In the middle and advanced stage,the teaching materials appear to be too simple on virtual verbs"zuo(做)""zuo(作)""gan(干)""gao(搞)"and"jinxing(进行)".Besides,the writing of junior high school textbooks at all stages when the use and collocation of the virtual verbs have not been paid enough attention to the teacher’s classroom teaching.We believe that the use of lexical patterns in classroom teaching,Textbook Compilation and export-oriented dictionaries can help foreign students to expand their vocabulary and review old words,which is beneficial to formate words,make sentences and construct lexical patterns.In addition,it is helpful for students to export idiomatic and accurate Chinese. |
