A Study On The Acceptance Attitude Of The First Child To The Second Child Under The "Universal Two-child" Policy

Starting from January 1,2016,China fully implemented the policy of allowing one couple to have two children.In the context of the "universal two-child policy",this study explores the psychological structure,related factors and mechanism of the acceptance attitude of the older child to the second child from the perspective of psychology in order to explore whether the older child accepts or rejects the arrival of the second child.It can not only enrich the theoretical research of acceptance attitude,but also understand the positive response degree of the older child to the second child in attitude and behavior,and explore the relevant factors affecting the second child acceptance of the older child.In this study,on the basis of literature analysis,first of all,with open questionnaire,construct the big child attitude to 2 children to accept the theory of dimension,and reference for acceptance attitude questionnaire items,compiled a big child attitude to two children to accept the initial questionnaire,using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor,explore and verify the structure and dimension of the questionnaire,and check the letter and validity;Then,a self-designed questionnaire was used to understand the general status and characteristics of the acceptance attitude towards the second child.In order to deeply understand the relevant factors affecting the acceptance attitude of the older child towards the second child,the relationship between empathy,positive and negative emotions and the acceptance attitude of the older child towards the second child is discussed,so as to understand the influencing factors and mechanism of the acceptance attitude from an explicit perspective.Finally,the mixed experimental design of 2(high and low empathy groups)×2(happy and sad emotions)was adopted to explore the implicit acceptance attitudes of high and low empathy groups under different emotional primes through the implicit association test,so as to explore the acceptance attitudes of big children to second children from an implicit perspective.The results of this study are as follows:(1)the questionnaire "acceptance attitude of big children toward second children" is composed of three dimensions: cognitive acceptance,behavioral acceptance and emotional acceptance.It has good reliability and validity and can be used to measure acceptance attitude.(2)the acceptance attitude of the eldest child to the second child is at a medium level,among which the cognitive acceptance score is the highest.(3)among demographic variables,there are significant differences in age,place of origin,whether the parents are the only child,and grade level in the acceptance attitude of older children to the second child.(4)there is a significant positive correlation between acceptance attitude and empathy and positive emotion between the older child and the second child,and positive emotion plays a part in mediating between acceptance attitude and empathy between the older child and the second child.(5)in the test of implicit association,the effect of the big child on the implicit acceptance of the second child is significant,indicating that the big child has the implicit acceptance of the second child.There was an interaction between the types of emotional priming and the grouping of empathy,and there were significant differences in the implicit acceptance attitudes of subjects in the high and low empathy groups under different emotional priming,indicating that the role of empathy in implicit acceptance attitudes would be affected by emotional states.
