| Beauty painting is an important part of Chinese figure painting.It takes women as the main portrayal object.It has experienced the development of multiple dynasties from Wei Jin to Ming and Qing Dynasties in the history of the development of ancient Chinese figure painting,showing different artistic styles.The Ming Dynasty was a mature period for the development of beauty portraits.In the gradually declining feudal society of the Ming Dynasty,the rise of Wang Xue,the emancipation of thoughts,and the prosperity of the commodity economy have enriched the artistic expression of beauty paintings.The secular nature of painting subjects and the aesthetic taste of the common appreciation of elegant and popular are the former generations of ladies.There are no features in the painting.This article takes the Ming Dynasty beauty painting as the main research object,and the main problem discussed is that the Ming Dynasty beauty painting under the specific background and environment is different from the previous generation’s aesthetic taste and artistic language.The reason why the beauty paintings of the Ming Dynasty matured was that the material foundation brought about by the rapid development of the commodity economy at that time stimulated the huge demand for beauty paintings generated by the emerging citizen class and merchants.At this time,the portraits of ladies gradually moved from the class of literati and doctors to the class of citizens.Through the analysis of the famous ladies painters and their masterpieces in the Ming Dynasty,it is concluded that the “elegance” and “vulgarness” embodied in theaesthetic taste of the ladies’ paintings of the Ming Dynasty correspond to the aesthetic orientation of literati painters and citizens,and reflect the aesthetic trends of an era.The aesthetic interest of the beauty paintings of the Ming Dynasty not only affected the style of beauty paintings of the Qing Dynasty,but also affected the creation of a group of representative painters and beauty paintings in modern times.Therefore,the expression of aesthetic taste in the Ming Dynasty beauty paintings is very worthy of study.Studying the artistic expression of the Ming Dynasty beauty paintings also has a certain guiding role in the paintings of female subjects.This paper will use five chapters to discuss the aesthetic interest of Ming Dynasty beauty paintings.The first chapter is to simply sort out the development of Ming Dynasty beauty paintings from Wei Jin to Ming Dynasty,and then to elaborate the development of beauty paintings in the Ming Dynasty in this special era.Including the concept of beauty painting and the social,economic and cultural background of its development;Chapter 2 discusses the elegant and popular views in Chinese painting theory;Chapter 3 analyzes Tang Yin,Chen Hongshou and Qiu Ying,the three most representative ladies painters of the Ming Dynasty and their works The fourth chapter discusses and summarizes the aesthetic taste characteristics of Ming Dynasty beauty paintings.The fifth chapter discusses the artistic value and influence of the aesthetic taste of the Ming Dynasty beauty paintings.Through these analyses,we explore the aesthetic features and artistic value of Ming Dynasty beauty paintings and provide specific perspectives and references for future generations to re-understand the Ming Dynasty beauty paintings. |
