Abstract/Summary:
For a long time, the focus of modal research has been mainly on adverbs and verbs, while the research on modal meaning of modal words is scattered. The study of atypical disyllabic modal words and new modal words is also relatively rare.Based on this, this paper mainly studies the modal meaning and subjectivity of disyllabic modal words. This not only expands the research scope of modal semantics, but also objectively reveals the usage rules of modal modal modal words, and provides some references for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. There are six chapters in this paper. The introduction mainly introduces the significance of the topic, the research status and the source of the corpus. The first chapter summarizes and classifies the modern Chinese modal modal word system mainly by means of corpus, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The second chapter mainly uses the method of synchronic and diachronic research, the method of semantic background analysis and the method of co-occurrence word statistics to investigate the meaning and usage of the modal modal modal word "yehao" from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. The match of the modal word "yehao" can express whatever the meaning is,and its single use can express concession, approval and whatever the modal meaning is.The third chapter focuses on the diachronal investigation. While summarizing the modal meaning of the modern Chinese modal word "yeba",it also makes statistics on its use in various dynasties and analyzes the lexicalization process of "yeba" in detail. The modal word "yeba" can match the table does not matter meaning, with the table concession or limit meaning; The word "yeba" was first seen in the southern song dynasty, developed in the yuan dynasty, and flourished in the Ming and qing dynasties. The fourth chapter mainly uses semantic background analysis, complex sentence analysis,co-occurrence word analysis and other methods to summarize the modal meaning of the modal word "haole" in detail. The modal word "haole" has three modal meanings: concession, suggestion and morality. The suggested meaning is the core meaning of the modal word "haole",and can be subdivided into the conditional class, the hypothesis class, the anticipation class and the interpretation class. The modal word "haole" was first seen in the novels of Ming and Qing dynasties. The fifth chapter mainly uses the method of synchronic and diachronic research. The modal word "bale" has three modal meanings of saying things in small, concession and contempt.Their subjective degree is increasing, and the negative attitude of the speaker is more and more obvious. In modern Chinese, its core meaning is "to put things in a small way." The modal word "bale" was first seen in the yuan dynasty and flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The sixth chapter uses the comparative analysis and the questionnaire survey research method, investigates the similarities and differences of the four modal modal words, and puts forward some Suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
