This article takes the theme of "youth without regrets" in educated youth literature as the object of investigation,and integrates the literary writing and literary criticism of "youth without regrets" in the new era into a holistic framework,and discusses the ins and outs of "youth without regrets"."Youth without regrets" is faced with the changing historical context to sort out.And the spirit of "Romanticism" that always contains expectations for a perfect world in the future and yearning for ideals in "Youth without Regrets" can become a new perspective to reinterpret the theme of "Youth without Regrets" in educated youth literature.On this basis,I think about the inner relationship between "youth without regrets" and the spirit of romanticism,and then point out the meaning of the spirit of romanticism in the present.The article is mainly divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly starts from the text creation level of related writers.Through the investigation of the dilemma faced by "Scar Literature" at the beginning of the new era,it points out the historical context of the birth of "Youth Without Regrets",and then deeply analyzes the theme of "Youth Without Regrets" The "growth" mode in the book and the "cultural-psychological" structure generated under the influence of literary education and literary classics.Of course,"Youth without Regrets" is not a simple return to the "seventeen-year" literature.Under the superficial similarity,there are hidden undercurrents of humanitarianism in the 1980 s.The second chapter mainly examines the situation of the theme of "Youth without Regrets" in different eras from the perspective of literary criticism.The large-scale introduction of modernist literature in the 1980 s and the subsequent "rewriting of the history of literature" constituted a profound "break" in contemporary literature,thus rewriting the historical context faced by "youth without regrets",which became a literary convention.The evolution of the discourse of "authenticity" has become a weapon of criticism of "youth without regrets".It is undeniable that although the literary criticism of the 1990 s hit the soft underbelly of the theme of "Youth without Regrets" and refuted the negative factors in it,due to the dislocation of the evaluation criteria and the dualistic way of thinking,At the same time of "discovering",a new "covering" is created,and a new "missing" is created in the "insight".The third chapter starts with literary works since the 1990 s,discussing the richer creation types from "youth without regrets" to "youth with regrets" to the present.Behind this transformation is not only the opposition between the "revolutionary age" and the "enlightenment age",but also the reading demand under the sweeping marketization tide.In this sense,although the emphasis on human "subjectivity" in the 1980 s liberated the "self" from the grand narrative of "revolutionary China," it was steadily retreating in the torrent of the market economy in the 1990 s and enlightened.After the liberated "subject" under the trend of thought has restored its independence,it has become an atomized "individual" that can be sold in the market economy,and finally loses its own subjectivity and initiative again in the constant alienation.In view of this,the nostalgia for "youth without regrets" with "idealism" and "heroism" as the core,the restart of the romantic spirit has the potential for liberation,and provides an opportunity for the reshaping of the human subject.It constitutes a new perspective to re-examine the literature of educated youth.
