| With the introduction of the Belt and Road Initiative,economic and financial exchanges between China and countries along the routes have become increasingly frequently.In the course of more and more communication,interpreting has become a crucial link.The material of this paper is based on the author’s own liaison interpreting practice in October,2019 at “The1st “Belt and Road” International Finance Symposium” in Shijiazhuang Hebei Province.In the process of liaison interpreting,the author finds that some schemata in her mind can help her understand the clients better,and complete the task of liaison interpreting more smoothly.In this report,the author collects the relevant literature of Schema Theory,sorts out the basic concepts and some important theories of schema theory.Then,the author specifically analyzes the encountered cases in the process of liaison interpreting,and discusses the prediction and reasoning functions of Schema Theory.Finally,the author summarizes the innovation points and unsettled problems of this report,hoping that this report can provide some reference value for interpreters who also participate in liaison interpreting. |
