Topological Features And Design Application In The Patterns Of Porcelain Plate In Song Dynasty

The decorative patterns of Song Dynasty porcelain have been widely respected at home and abroad for their unique cultural and artistic style.The Song Dynasty porcelain had a large quantity,a wide coverage area and a relatively complete integration of multiple cultures.It’s difficult to conclude from the microscopic analysis the layout characteristics and logical relationships among the decorative patterns of Song Dynasty porcelain.Topology,in addition,focuses on the positional relationship between objects without considering their shape and size,which has the characteristic of simplifying complexity.Topology provides a new perspective for people to understand the transformation of graphics and has been widely used in many fields such as science and art.This article study the topological characteristics of the Song Dynasty porcelain plate patterns,and their possible role and value in illustration design.This is of great significance for understanding and disseminating the essence and wisdom of Song Dynasty porcelain decorative patterns.Firstly,based on the concept of "topology",this article discusses its actual scope of influence and application areas.Meanwhile,Through in-depth analysis of topological of characteristics,structure,transformation and classification,so as to support that "topological form" can be applied to illustration design.Secondly,this article collected a large number of Song Dynasty porcelain plates,demonstrated the artistic characteristics of Song Dynasty porcelain plate decorations and the classification of its topological forms,and summarized the potential design rules in Song Dynasty porcelain plate decorations.After that,it expounds its application principles and reality mapping,and discusses the cultural inheritance,structure and development of the basic principles of topology in the evolution of the Song Dynasty porcelain plate decoration and contemporary graphic design.Finally,the topological morphology of the Song Dynasty porcelain plate decoration is applied to the illustration design,and then it provides a useful exploration for the field of illustration design.The results of this research will help modern illustration inherit and carry forward the excellent culture of the Chinese nation in the design process,and make it have the characteristics of adapting to the development of the times,so as to stimulate cultural diversity and creativity,and provide guidance for current illustration design.
