The education problem of China become more and more prominent.Education take away from the purpose of educating qualified personnel gradually.Education has become a tool for political and economic.The nature of Education is changing.This change reflect in education purpose,education content,education method.The education purpose lose the support of noble beliefs.The purpose of education is becoming more and more utilitarian.Under this basis,the education content is single,and only focus on the development of knowledge and skills.There was a terrible shortage of moral education.Instrumentalization make education object like a tool in production line.The education object lost the freedom of personality and spirit.In the method of education,students compete with each other rather than cooperation.In the face of prominent problem of education in contemporary China,we need to inherit the essence of Chinese traditional education thought,and also should not give up on the absorption of western excellent education thought.Confucian education thought is the mainstream of Chinese traditional education thought,and Christian education thought is an important part of western education thought.Thus it is meaningful to compare these two kinds of thoughts.First,this paper discuss the theoretical basis of education thought——taoist temple and the theory of human nature.Secondly,this paper provide several aspects——education objective,education content,education methodology,perception of educator—— to compare the difference of two kinds of education thought.In the last,by comparison,this paper point out a feasible way for Chinese education.In the process of education reconstruction,education should set up lofty beliefs in the first.On the one hand,the sublime faith is man's ultimate concern;on the other hand,it is the key and core of moral education,Secondly,education content should focus on life education and classical education.The life education help students to learn the skills and knowledge,while the life can be bred,the rational and the emotional are integrated into a complete human nature.Classical education can help students to shape the humanistic care of the whole.Third,education methods should focus on introspection,In the last,rebuilding the tradition of respecting teachers is equally important.
