Wandering Between National Policies

With the transformation of historiography,the call of "reconstructing Chinese film history" is rising,and the study of regional film history has become an urgent practical need.As an underdeveloped province,Shanxi lags far behind the first-tier cities in the development of film and television,and the research on film history is almost blank.However,as the cradle of Shanxi film,Shanxi film studio is a product born in a special era.As a provincial state-owned film studio in the early days of New China,Shanxi Film Studio,like many small and medium-sized film studios born in the same period,is striving to find its position in history under the impetus of various historical factors.Therefore,it is of indelible historical and cultural significance for rewriting the history of films to explore the historical causes of its development and evolution from the perspective of Shanxi Film Studio.This paper takes the period from 1958 to 2020 as the time span,takes the historical evolution of Shanxi film studio and its produced films as the research object,analyzes its historical phenomenon and development in different stages,so as to get the reasons behind the rise and fall of Shanxi film studio,and analyzes the interaction between these factors,hoping to provide some reference and enlightenment for the study of film history.This paper is mainly divided into the following parts: the introduction part mainly expounds the background and origin of the topic,the connotation of Shanxi film studio,relevant literature review and chapter composition.Based on the in-depth analysis of previous studies,the research value and innovation of this paper are obtained.The first chapter,by combing the position of Shanxi Film Studio in the history of Chinese film,as well as its comparison with other film studios,identifies the historical position of Shanxi Film Studio,and gives a detailed overview of its position in the history.The second chapter divides the history of Shanxi Film Studio into four creative periods according to the rule that Shanxi Film Studio adjusts its production strategy with the change of national policy,selects specific film texts,and discusses the creative situation of Shanxi Film Studio in different historical stages.The third chapter regards the historical phenomenon of the four periods of Shanxi film studio as the result of the interaction of economic,political,cultural,human and other factors in different periods,analyzes the formation reasons of the four periods,rationally judges how these factors interact with each other,and further analyzes the internal and external generation mechanism of Shanxi film studio.The fourth chapter makes a systematic statistics of the films produced by Shanxi Film Studio,analyzes and explains them,and makes a study from the two aspects of creation structure and creation characteristics,and obtains the general rules of film and television creation of Shanxi Film Studio.The conclusion gives a comprehensive evaluation of the development of Shanxi Film Studio in the past 60 years from the perspective of film history,which provides a new direction for the study of regional film history and injects fresh blood into the rewriting of Chinese film history.
