| Li Yixian was an important minister in the later period of North Korea.He served as an envoy to the Qing court twice on the 59 th year of Kangxi’s reign(1720)and the 10 th year of Yongzheng’s(1732).At that time,he wrote down two kinds of travel records: Gengzi Yan Xing Za Zhi and Renzi Yan Xing Za Zhi,these two records are all together called two kinds of Yan Xing Za Zhi in the following.The period of Emperor Kangxi and Yongzheng was an important time of diplomacy between ancient China and North Korea.Li Yixian’s Yan Xing Za Zhi provides us with an important reference for studying the situation of both sides during this time.It is rich in contents including aspects of politics,economy,society,culture,folk customs and geography from the perspective of a foreign people.Therefore,on the basis of previous studies,the author takes Li Yixian’s Yan Xing Za Zhi as the research object,and conducts a rather comprehensive study on it.First of all,the author will make punctuation and collation on two kinds of Li Yixian’s Yan Xing Za Zhi,and introduce the author of this book as well as the historical background of his envoy time,which aims to lay a foundation for understanding and analyzing its abundant contents.Secondly,the introduction of the published version is presented,as well as problems such as the variant character or mistakes occurred during the punctuation and collation will also be given a detailed explanation.Thirdly,the content of Yan Xing Za Zhi will be analyzed.At the beginning,the author will introduce various factors about Li Yixian’s envoy time,including reasons of being sent out to China,plans for team,go-return route,schedule and main activities,and then make a contrastive analysis between two times of being sent out.After that,the author analyzes what Li saw and heard from the perspective of envoy,literati and tourists,which will show the unique academic value of Yan Xing Za Zhi.Finally,through the detailed analysis of two kinds of Li Yixian’s Yan Xing Za Zhi,its academic and literature value in geography,folk,literary and history are shown in a systematic and comprehensive way.Two kinds of Li Yixian’s Yan Xing Za Zhi still has a detailed description of political-military,social people’s livelihood,landscapes and architectures about the Qing Dynasty.In his book,readers can feel Li’s unique insights about Qing Dynasty,which is rather different from other records.From two kinds of Yan Xing Za Zhi,it is clear to figure out the changes of relationship between China and North Korea,the differences of various aspects between two sides as well as the social situation in the times of Kangxi and Yongzheng.All in all,it does a great job in serving valuable literature for us to better understand the situation at that time. |
