| The study of old Chinese phonology is of great significance for understanding the history of Chinese phonology.Regarding old Chinese phonology,the research on rhyme categories has become more and more perfect.But there are still many questions to be explored on initial consonants in old Chinese phonology.Among the lots of materials used to study initial consonants in old Chinese phonology,the number of Xiesheng characters is large and reliable,so they are important for the study of initial consonants in old Chinese phonology.Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina accords with the period of old Chinese phonology,and there are a large number of Xiesheng characters,which is suitable for the study of initial consonants in old Chinese phonology.Based on the Xiesheng characters in Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina,we make a Xiesheng characters form firstly.And then,we use statistics to explore the relation of Xiesheng characters and initial consonants in old Chinese phonology based on Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina.Finally,we discuss initial consonants in old Chinese phonology reflected by Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina from three aspects—the common relations among Xiesheng characters,the special relations among Xiesheng characters and the exceptional relations among Xiesheng characters.We find that the relations among Xiesheng characters reflected by Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina are the same as the existing results basically.Scholars have done a lot of research.The relations among Xiesheng characters reflected by Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina can provide evidence for the existing results.In addition,Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina reflects the relation between Rimu and Xinmu,which needs to be confirmed with more materials in the future.By analyzing the relations of Xiesheng characters reflected by Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina,we find that the system of initial consonants in old Chinese phonology reflected by Han Dynasty bamboo slips of Ejina includes labial,apical occlusive,apical sibilant,velar,glottal and dorso-nasal fricatives at least. |
