Investigation On Online Chinese Primary Listening Teaching For Foreign Students During The COVID-19 Outbreak

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic,Chinese colleges and universities can only teach primary Chinese listening online,which brings many problems due to the change of teaching mode.Through questionnaire survey and interview with some teachers and foreign students from four universities in South China(Jinan University,South China Normal University,Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Guangdong Polytechnic of Water Resources and Electric Engineering),this paper finds out the advantages and problems of online primary listening teaching of Chinese.Then,through integration analysis,the reasons of these advantages and problems are found out.Finally,based on my teaching experience of online primary listening course,I put forward some suggestions from the aspects of teachers and students,in order to improve the teaching status of online primary listening course of Chinese.The main body of this paper includes five parts:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the purpose and significance of this study,and then gives a brief description of the current situation of online primary listening of Chinese.The second part is a detailed study of the online primary Chinese listening course learning of foreign students in four universities in South China.This part collects the basic information of foreign students,their attitude towards online primary listening class,and the learning situation of online primary Chinese listening class by means of questionnaire.The third part,through interviews with teachers and students respectively,collects the difficulties faced by teachers and students in the process of teaching and learning as well as the suggestions for improvement.The fourth part,through the analysis of the survey and interview results,finds out the existing advantages and the reasons for the existing problems of online Chinese primary listening course,and puts forward some suggestions from the perspective of teachers and students.The fifth part designs and improves a teaching plan according to the investigation results of online Chinese primary listening course.
