Research On "Five Senses" In Book Binding Design

In the environment of advocating cultural confidence,books,as the material carrier of ideology and culture,are indispensable items in people’s life.Nowadays,people’s demand for books is not only to meet the basic reading,but also to seek emotional and spiritual resonance.As an important way to convey emotional experience,"five senses" are explored and applied to binding design by designers,which makes the presentation and spiritual connotation of books more diverse and refined,and enriches readers’ reading experience.Therefore,paying attention to the application of the concept of "five senses" has become the key to the current book binding design.This paper takes "five senses" in book binding design as the research object.Firstly,the concept of "five senses" is elaborated and the application of "five senses" in design is analyzed;secondly,the concept and development process of book binding design are elaborated;then,combined with relevant cases,the feasibility and practicability of "five senses" concept in book binding design are systematically discussed,and the application principles of "five senses" in book binding design are summarized;finally,the "five senses" theory is put forward The idea is presented in the book binding design practice of Exploring Neon.Relying on diversified forms of expression and accurate ideological and emotional communication,the paper books can reproduce vitality and vigor.
