Research On The Localization Construction Of Chinese Science Fiction In The New Century

Chinese science fiction in the new century is free from the requirements and constraints of its times background,and is one of the richest,most unique,and most diverse stages in the century-long history of Chinese science fiction.At the same time,Chinese science fiction in the new century is no longer a copy of European and American science fiction or Soviet science fiction models in many aspects,but a continuous localized construction,which makes its textual content,the ideas and values all have a strong Chinese connotation.However,the localization of science fiction in the new century is still an unfinished proposition,and along with localization comes the dilemma that it is not accepted by popular readers.In this paper,we analyze the achievements and difficulties of the localization in order to grasp the direction and the possibilities of its future development.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background of the topic,reviews the current situation,and explains the research ideas and methods.The second chapter is devoted to sorting out three representative types of local science fiction-historical science fiction,realism science fiction and Chinese hard science fiction-based on the construction of localized Chinese science fiction in the new century.And the above three kinds of science fiction are compared with Western science fiction.The third chapter focuses on the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture,the emergence of local aesthetic rationality and the integration of various literary styles in the construction of localized Chinese science fiction in the new century.And taking Liu Cixin’s The Three-Body Problem as an example of localized creation,this paper makes a specific text analysisThe fourth chapter expounds the significance and existing problems of the localization of Chinese science fiction in the new century.The most direct significance of Chinese science fiction in the new century is to try to establish a science fiction system with Chinese culture as the core,so as to distinguish itself from western science fiction.The problems of the localization of Chinese science fiction are the lack of creative follow-up,the lack of theoretical research,and the difficulty of breaking through the science fiction circle into the public domain.This chapter analyzes the relevant problems and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
