Social governance is an important field of national governance,urban and rural communities are the basic unit of social governance,and communities are at the forefront of grassroots governance.The rapid change of social governance situation poses new challenges for the innovation of grassroots social governance.Especially in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic,community as the first line of epidemic prevention and control,community workers are at the forefront day and night,and play a predominant role in build stringent lines of defense across society.This group has received unprecedented attention,but it has not been noticed that community workers are also a profession with high incidence of job burnout.Job burnout directly harms the physical and mental health of community workers,and at the same time makes community workers cope with work negatively and treat service objects coldly,which seriously affects the effectiveness of community governance.Therefore,with the continuous improvement of the social governance system,the research on community workers should not only focus on how to build a specialist and professional team of community workers,but it is also very urgent to study how to prevent and intervene job burnout.In order to study the influence of different demographic variables on the community workers job burnout,this paper takes Y Sub-district office of N District as an example,all community workers as the research object.Briefly describes the concept of job burnout,the appearance and classification,using the incentive theory and job matching theory as the based theory,this study to choose scale explanation is given,And the scope of the research object is defined.Combined with relevant literature on job burnout,questionnaire data,interview content and long-term observation,this paper discusses the performance of job burnout among community workers and analyzes the causes of job burnout.In this study,experience gained in the study of job burnout in Liaoning province and Xiamen city was used for reference.It is found that the differences of identity,age,education background and working hours have influence on job burnout.Gender,marital status,social work major,social worker rank,salary and working years have no significant influence on job burnout.The three dimensions of job burnout are significantly correlated with job burnout,and the correlation between the three dimensions is different.This paper attributed the job burnout of community workers to problems in the four aspects of workload,working hours,salary incentives,and social needs.Suggestions for prevention and intervention in community worker job burnout from community workers themselves,community worker managers,human resource development and management.
