The "Chinese writing" mentioned by the International Chinese Education is not exactly the same as the "composition" or "writing" in the Chinese language teaching of Chinese students.As part of the teaching of Chinese special skills,its purpose is to help Chinese learners review.,To consolidate the Chinese knowledge that has been learned,on the other hand,to cultivate the ability of Chinese learners to think in Chinese and to express in Chinese in writing.Among the four language skills of "listening,speaking,reading,and writing",the improvement of learners’ writing ability is the most difficult,especially requiring specialized and extensive training.However,in the teaching of Chinese as a second language,the frequency of courses on the skill of "writing" is the lowest.Most teaching units start to set up writing courses only at the middle and high level of students’ Chinese learning,but for the elementary level of learning.It is quite rare for people to offer Chinese writing courses.Even if they do,they are basically mixed in the comprehensive courses.This makes it impossible to guarantee the improvement of Chinese learners’ writing ability,which affects their Chinese proficiency to a higher level.This paper takes the composition corpus in the reading and writing course and the mid-term and final examination papers of the comprehensive course of primary Mongolian students in the school of international exchange of Inner Mongolia Normal University from 2018 to 2021 as the research object,and analyzes and explains the main errors and their causes in the Chinese writing of primary Mongolian students through data statistics,interviews and classroom observation,On this basis,it puts forward targeted and practical teaching suggestions.The purpose is to arouse Chinese teachers’ attention to Chinese writing teaching and strengthen the cultivation of students’ Chinese writing ability,reduce the possible errors of Mongolian students in Chinese writing and improve their Chinese writing level.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction.It mainly includes the origin of topic selection,research significance,research overview,research content and research methods,as well as the definition of main concepts.The second part is the general situation of elementary Chinese writing teaching in the School of International Exchange,Inner Mongolia Normal University.It mainly introduces the curriculum setting of the International Exchange College of Inner Mongolia Normal University,the teaching situation of elementary Chinese writing,and the teaching goals and teaching requirements of elementary Chinese writing.The third part is about the Chinese writing errors of Mongolian students at the elementary level of the International Exchange College of Inner Mongolia Normal University.Through the analysis of the corpus of328 Mongolian students at elementary level,the distribution of errors in Chinese writing is explained.The errors found are mainly reflected in punctuation errors,Chinese character writing errors,vocabulary errors and grammatical errors.The fourth part is about the reasons why Mongolian students at the elementary level of the International Exchange College of Inner Mongolia Normal University make errors in their Chinese writing.Analyze the reasons for the errors in Chinese writing by Mongolian students at elementary level from three aspects: transfer factors,learner main factors and teachers’ leading factors,including interlingual transfer,intralingual transfer,learners’ lack of Chinese writing ability and teachers restricted by traditional writing teaching mode.The fifth part is the teaching suggestion of Chinese writing for Mongolian students at the elementary level of the School of International Exchange,Inner Mongolia Normal University.Based on the types and causes of errors in Chinese writing for Mongolian students at the elementary level,specific and targeted suggestions are put forward from three aspects: Chinese writing teaching content,teaching methods and Mongolian learners’ learning of Chinese writing,such as: teachers should actively Explore new Chinese writing teaching modes,attach importance to the explanation and training of writing knowledge;learners should cultivate Chinese language sense and Chinese thinking,reduce negative transfer of mother tongue,consolidate basic knowledge of Chinese,improve Chinese writing ability,etc.It is hoped that the research in this paper can be of reference to the teaching of Chinese writing by the teachers of the School of International Exchange,Inner Mongolia Normal University,and can help improve the Chinese writing ability of Mongolian students at the elementary level.
