China and Myanmar have always maintained friendly relations and established diplomatic relations for ages. With the progressive deepening of cooperation and exchanges, there has also been a "Chinese fever" in Myanmar.More and more people are learning Chinese in various provinces of Myanmar.Because of the Chinese and Burmese grammatical systems are quite different,,Chinese grammar is difficult for Burmese students and prepositions are one of them.During the teaching practice,I found that the 10 prepositions commonly used by Myanmar learners of Chinese at the elementary and intermediate levels are more or less biased through analyzing the corpus. Therefore, under the guidance of interlanguage theory, this article uses comparative analysis and error analysis to investigate and analyze the usage and error types of Chinese prepositions commonly used by Myanmar students at the elementary and intermediate levels.First and foremost, after analysis in the collected Myanmar student corpus,it is found that most of the prepositions appearing in the textbooks used by junior and intermediate Chinese learners are HSK Level 4 prepositions, among which the preposi tions"从、由、在、为了、对、给、把、被、让、比are the most common.The10 prepositions with the highest error rate are the prepositions"由,对,让","在、从、把、为了、被"followed.Secondly, there are four main types of errors in these 10 prepositions:omission, wrong order, wrong addition, and wrong substitution. The main reasons for the errors of Myanmar learners are language migration and insufficient teaching and teaching materials.Aiming at these two reasons, the article puts forward some targeted teaching suggestions and learning strategies.
