| Since the outbreak of The COVID-19,all walks of life in my country have been seriously affected, and international Chinese education is one of them.Foreign Chinese language learners cannot come to China to study because of the epidemic, and can only study online. The epidemic, online learning methods and the stigmatization of China in some Western countries have all affected the willingness of overseas Chinese language learners to study in China.Based on the push-pull theory and the theory of interaction between internal and external factors, this paper uses the methods of literature, questionnaires and interviews to investigate the impact of the epidemic on Thai Chinese learners’ willingness to study in China and the influencing factors. The thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter focuses on the reason and significance of the topic selection, research overview, research methods and significance;the second chapter is the research design;the third chapter is the statistical analysis of the influence of covid-19 on Thai Chinese learners’ willingness to study in China; The fourth chapter explores the factors influencing the willingness of Thai Chinese language learners to study in China during the epidemic;the fifth chapter is the main conclusion of the paper. The results of the study found that during the epidemic,Thai Chinese language learners’ willingness to study in China was generally lower than before the epidemic, and their willingness to study abroad was related to economic factors, environmental factors, national image factors, national relationship factors, and internal(personal)factors and other factors. This paper believes that family relief funds should be provided and school scholarships should be increased;the second is to create a real environment conducive to online learning, and to implement an access system that combines control and release;third, the media should do a good job of publicity and use multiple channels to attract potential Chinese learners to China Study abroad;Fourth, enhance the discourse power of Chinese media and create a three-dimensional and vivid image of China. |
