Resarch On Xi Zhongxun’s Educational Thought And Practice

Comrade Xi Zhongxun is an outstanding member of the Communist Party of China,a great communist fighter.Xi Zhongxun has worked hard for the cause of the liberation of the Chinese people and the birth of New China,for the cause of socialist revolution and construction,for the reform and opening up and for the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and has built indelible historical merits.Xi Zhongxun not only contributed tremendously to the Chinese revolution,but also made a certain contribution to the development of Chinese education in terms of culture and education.In different periods of China’s revolution,construction and reform,he put forward educational policies at different stages and carried out educational practices,provided a large number of outstanding talents for social development at that time,and promoted the development of Chinese education.This article takes time as a clue to study Xi Zhongxun’s educational practice in the stages of socialist revolution,socialist construction,and reform and opening up in China,and analyzes and summarizes Xi Zhongxun’s achievements in educational practice in different periods.Based on the study of monographs and related literature,the author analyzes that Xi Zhongxun’s educational thoughts are based on the background of the times,the guidance of the CPC’s educational guidelines,the guidance of Marxism,the influence of Mao Zedong Thought,the enlightenment of Chinese traditional culture,and the specific practice of personal work Formed under the combined action of many factors.Xi Zhongxun’s life long education thought covers five aspects: First,he emphasizes patriotism.Xi Zhongxun founded Lenin Primary School,a number of red primary schools,incorporating patriotism into his teaching.The second is to train high-level applied talents.In the establishment and development of the Second Normal University in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningbo District and the Northwestern People’s Revolutionary University,Xi Zhongxun guided the school’s school-running tasks and talent training programs.In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,he made targeted suggestions for the development of China’s higher education.The third is to attach importance to the combination of education and production.The Winter Learning Movement is a typical educational practice where Xi Zhongxun emphasizes the combination of education and production.Fourth,pay attention to education equity.In terms of minority education and female education,Xi Zhongxun has always emphasized educational equity.Fifth,advocate respecting teachers and teaching.Xi Zhongxun attaches great importance to the relationship between teachers and students and theconstruction of teachers.Xi Zhongxun’s educational ideology has always been characterized by party-managed education,seeking truth from facts,and hard and simple good customs.At present,we inherit,carry forward and apply Xi Zhongxun’s educational ideas,which have certain value and enlightenment for the development of the country’s education.
