Research On The Characteristics,Causes And Guidance Of "Buddhist Youth"

The phenomenon of “Buddhist youth” is a new social phenomenon about the post-90 s and post-00 s youth groups that sprang up on the Internet in 2017.the attitude of young people“Buddhis” reflects the change of youth values.As the youth of the new era,the post-90 s and post-00 s youth are the generation that the party and the country are most concerned about.Their life trajectory is closely related to the future of the country.The change of their values not only affects the growth of the youth themselves,but also affects the prosperity of the country.Therefore,this study makes an exploratory study on the causes of youth “Buddhist” phenomenon and the guidance of values.This study mainly uses the methods of philosophical speculation and comparison,supplemented by the method of observation,to find the logical clue of the origin of the word“Buddhism”,and to explore the connotation of “Buddhism” and the characteristics of “youth of Buddhism”.Through the analysis,it is found that the word “Buddhist system”originated in Japan,and the concept of “Buddhist system” was first put forward by Non-no,a famous Japanese women’s magazine,in 2014.The characteristics of "Buddhist youth" are as follows: passive choice and active abandonment of love,quiet enjoyment and loneliness in online social communication,no competition for academic achievement and no excessive embarrassment for themselves;pay attention to self and value nothingness in terms of interests and hobbies.On the whole,the study found that the "Buddhist youth" in the mirror image of others is negative and decadent,but through comparison,it is found that "Buddhist youth" can be divided into "true Buddhist youth" and "pseudo-Buddhist youth".They are young people who have a "Buddhist" attitude towards life.On the other hand,"pseudo-Buddhist youth" are young people who are labeled as "Buddhists," but have the evolutionary trend of "fighting over Buddha." on the surface,this kind of young people look down on everything and do not fight or rob,but in fact,they will change into a state of "never-ending" struggle when they work and study hard.With regard to the causes of the phenomenon of “Buddhist youth”,the author analyzes the present situation of the life of contemporary youth and the influence of pluralistic social thoughts,and compares the “Buddhist youth”with the youth of the 1950 s and 1960 s and the Japanese youth.It is found that there are three problems in the current situation of the life of contemporary youth:first,young people are adequate in material and lack of calcium in spirit;second,contemporary youth are under all kinds of pressure;third,they struggle to change their destiny and belief is impacted.In addition,consumerism,hedonism and value nihilism have influenced the values of contemporary youth and pushed them to the “Buddhist system”.According to the findings of this study and the theory of ideological and political education,the following suggestions are put forward: first,to cultivate the sense of mission of “Buddhist youth”.second,to improve the social awareness of “Buddhist youth”.Third,to shape the ideal personality of “Buddhist youth”.
