| Scientifically understanding and correctly grasping the changes of the principal contradictions in our society is not only the prerequisite for the Party to study and judge the national situation and formulate major policies,but also the fundamental follow of the focus of youth work and the direction of the youth movement.In the new historical position of China’s development,the 19 th CPC National Congress made a major political conclusion that "the principal contradiction in our society has been transformed into a contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development." The youth resonates with the times with the same frequency,and the youth and the times share the same destiny.in the new era,the change of the principal contradiction in our society is bound to put forward new requirements for the development of youth work.Based on the historical investigation of the Party’s understanding of the social principal contradiction in different historical periods,this paper systematically analyzes how the focus of the Party’s youth work changes with the transformation of the social principal contradiction in our country,deeply analyzes the logical relationship between the change of the social principal contradiction and the transfer of the focus of the youth work,and sorts out how the change of the social principal contradiction defines the logical way of the Party’s youth work.To explore the important relationship between resolving the Party’s contradictions in the field of youth work and promoting the settlement of social principal contradictions,and then grasp the new requirements put forward by the changes of the principal contradictions of our society on the "subject","object","direction" and "validity" of the Party’s youth work in the new era.At the same time,four different types of youth groups,namely,"rural youth","office youth","enterprise youth" and "college students" are investigated.With regard to the changes in demand in many aspects,such as "ideological education","salary income","marriage and friendship","employment entrepreneurship" and "policy guarantee",an empirical survey on "youth demand in the context of changes in the principal contradictions of our society in the new era" is carried out in the form of a network questionnaire.The purpose of this paper is to provide a realistic basis for the scientific and effective analysis of the problems to be solved in the current youth work.Through the data analysis of the survey results,the characteristics of youth demand are summarized,that is,"labor income and housing demand have become the two hot spots of youth’s demand for a better life","self-realization demand is the core of youth’s all-round development" and "social justice environment is the external condition for youth to meet their needs".Further explore the evolution of youth demand in the new era,which is embodied in the shift from group standard to individual standard in demand orientation,from idealism to pragmatism in demand content,and from singleness to diversification in demand type.at the demand level,single-line and low-level demand is replaced by multidimensional and high-level demand.On the basis of clarifying the historical context,combining with the investigation data on the needs of young people,and then grasping the coping strategies of youth work under the changing background of the principal contradictions in our society in the new era,we should explore the mode of classified guidance in terms of ideological guidance,strive to improve the sense of responsibility and mission of young people,and strive to solve the most critical and prominent problems of young people based on the vulnerable groups of young people in the allocation of resources.In the content of work,accurately identify the needs of young people,improve their sense of achievement,well-being and sense of security;in the working mechanism,improve the long-term mechanism for connecting with young people,contact young people more widely,serve them more effectively,and guide them more forcefully;in terms of work strength,establish a coordination and cooperation mechanism with youth social organizations and youth work institutions,and strive to build a "youth work community." In a word,the analysis of coping strategies should be more based on practical experience and empirical investigation,so as to realize the powerful combination of theoretical sublimation and practical thinking.to provide decision-making reference for the development of the Party’s youth work under the background of the change of social principal contradiction. |
