It is acknowledged that the keen love and praise towards labor have always been an excellent cultural tradition of our country,and it is also known as the valuable spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation.At present,the information explosion imposed by the Internet and new media erodes the traditional concept of labor at the same time of providing our life with convenience.Some people hold the view that there is no need for hard labor any more along with the increasingly higher degree of automation.Moreover,along with the popularity of “online celebrities”,more and more young people are of the opinion that the down-to-earth workers are the ones who are incompetent.It further promotes the formation of impetuous atmosphere to spread fast,which focuses on how to earn money rapidly,how to take a shortcut and how to obtain cash quickly by relying on streaming.During the critical and imptortant period when the “two centenary goals” for struggle and the aim of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,it is observed that the spirit of hard work and professional dedication are known as a true strength which is beneficial to the society.When the correct understanding over “labor creates value” was questioned,Xi Jinping proposed the statement that labor is known as a significant approach to obtain happiness and success.By rectifying unhealthy tendencies and evil influences effectively in the society,the basis of Chinese Dream is consolidated.Through employing literature research and inductive research,this paper focuses on the study over Xi Jinping’s concept of labor.Firstly,this study carries out relevant studies on the formation process of Xi Jinping’s concept of labor,and discusses it through the aspects of its background,origin and personal practice experience,which lays a foundation for the further study on Xi Jinping’s concept of labor in the following part.Secondly,starting from Xi Jinping’s concept of labor,this paper carries out in-depth exploration over its connotation,and it aims to grasp the theoretical characteristics of Xi Jinping’s concept of labor from multiple angles on such basis.Finally,this paper explores the measures taken when dealing with new situations and facing new tasks under the background of new era,and it also analyzes and summarizes both the theoretical and practical significance of Xi Jinping’s concept of labor.Despite the fact that we are closer to the achievement of great dream than ever before,there is a long way to go towards the path for the development of socialism with characteristics.In the future,it is highly required that we’d continue to work hard for the purpose of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Marxist scientific theory as the guidance and the honest labor as the yardstick.
