Research On The Protection Of Online Game Consumers’ Rights And Interests

With the popularity of the Internet,more and more people join in the army of online games,but as the consumers of online games experience the game,they encounter the situation that such rights and interests are violated.From the perspective of the protection of consumers’ rights and interests,this paper attempts to make a detailed study and Discussion on the disputes about the attributes of online game consumers’ rights and interests,the disputes about online game consumers’ rights and interests in real life and the legal solutions,and proposes to summarize consumers’ rights and interests in online game consumers through a vague consumer rights and interests,And on this basis,through the analysis of the types and nature of various dispute cases in real life,combining various current academic ideas,put forward corresponding legal opinions and countermeasures,in order to be beneficial to the protection of consumers’ rights and interests in online games.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part describes the current situation of the protection of the rights and interests of online game consumers,analyzes the current situation and problems of the protection of the rights and interests of online game consumers,and then focuses on the description and analysis of many disputes about the current situation of the protection of online game consumers,and puts forward the game players in the perspective of the right to know,the right to free choice,the right to fair trade and the right to security The unique rights and interests of consumers.The second part mainly analyzes the reasons for the ineffective protection of the rights and interests of online games in China.In view of the weak position of online game players and the consideration of the legal risks they face,this paper analyzes in detail the reasons for the confusion caused by the characteristics of online game itself and the recognition of online game consumers’ rights and interests,and points out the reasons for the lag of legislation of online game consumers’ rights and interests in China and the lack of government supervision.The third part is mainly about the extraterritorial experience of online game consumer protection.Through the analysis of the legislative practice of the protection of consumers’ rights and interests in extraterritorial online games,this paper investigates the status quo of the protection of online virtual property in foreign countries,Hong Kong and Taiwan,and summarizes the advanced experience of these countries（regions）,with a view to providing enlightenment for China.The fourth part mainly expounds the Countermeasures of protecting the rights and interests of online game consumers in China.Drawing on the advanced experience of foreign countries and combining with the reality of our country,this paper puts forward specific solutions to the problems existing in the four rights of consumers: the right to know,the right to free choice,the right to security and the right to fair trade.
