The Degree Of Government Integrity Affects The Main Path Of Population Flow

Population mobility is an inevitable trend of economic development and social progress.Before the reform and opening up,due to the restriction of some social systems,as well as the influence of poor transportation,communication and cultural background,the population flow with individuals or families as the unit was not common.However,in recent years,with the acceleration of China’s urbanization process,the cross regional flow of population has become more and more attractive,showing the phenomenon of agglomeration to the developed eastern coastal areas.Most studies attribute the main reason to the development of regional economy and the improvement of public service facilities,while ignoring the influencing factors behind it.By analyzing the relationship between government integrity and population mobility,and by analyzing the impact of government integrity on population mobility under the influence of economic growth level and public service agglomeration level,this paper uses the number of corruption cases per 10000 people of provincial government departments to measure the degree of government integrity,and draws the conclusion that the degree of government integrity has an important impact on population mobility This conclusion reveals the deep-seated causes of population mobility and enriches the existing research results.The first chapter of this paper introduces the research background and the significance of the topic,and then summarizes the innovation deficiencies of this paper.The second chapter summarizes the definition of corruption and population mobility,summarizes the theory of the impact of corruption on population mobility,and puts forward the relevant theories on population mobility.In addition,this paper analyzes and summarizes the domestic and foreign literature on the impact of government integrity on population mobility,as well as the relevant literature on the impact of government integrity on population flow through the level of economic growth and the level of public service agglomeration.On this basis,the relevant literature is reviewed and summarized,and the relationship between government integrity and population mobility is analyzed.The third chapter describes the current situation of population flow in China’s provinces,and makes a hypothetical analysis on the influence path of the degree of government integrity on the population flow,and puts forward three hypotheses:first,the honest city government has a direct impact on the population flow;second,the degree of government integrity will have an impact on the population flow through the level of economic growth;third,the degree of government integrity will be through public services The level of business agglomeration has an impact on population mobility.The fourth chapter analyzes the impact of government integrity on population mobility by constructing the intermediary effect panel regression model.Firstly,the model data is stable,and there is no multicollinearity problem among variables.Then,the empirical test is conducted by using the provincial data of 30 provinces in China from 2008 to 2018,and the regional population flow is analyzed This paper studies the direct impact of government integrity on population mobility,and further explores whether the level of economic growth and the level of public service agglomeration play an intermediary role in the process of government integrity influencing population mobility.The results show that,on the basis of controlling industrial agglomeration level,per capita education level,consumer price index,unemployment rate,fiscal expenditure and other variables,the degree of government integrity can indeed attract the flow of population through the rational allocation of resources and the promotion of economic development.In this process,the level of economic growth and the level of public service agglomeration play the role of intermediary variables,Among them,the level of economic growth will have a masking effect on population mobility,and the level of public service agglomeration plays a full mediating effect.Therefore,in view of the current situation of population inflow in various provinces,in order to prevent the continuous expansion of population outflow in some areas,this paper proposes that the central and western regions of China should strengthen the supervision and restriction mechanism of public power,increase the punishment of corruption,improve the judicial level,and establish and improve the legal system Strengthen the sense of professional ethics and responsibility of government officials.,...
