| Social security is a safety net for people’s wellbeing and a stabilizer of social harmony and order.It bears on the vital interests of the people.Ensuring and improving people’s wellbeing is a fundamental manifestation of the CPC’s original aspiration and mission,and an important part of building a socialist society with Chinese characteristics.In his report to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed the need to establish and improve a multi-tiered social security system to meet people’s needs for a better life.In the course of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way,social security plays a crucial role in improving people’s wellbeing and promoting social equity and justice.The study of Marx’s social security thought is conducive to the orderly development of China’s social security,to the improvement of people’s livelihood,and to the enhancement of people’s sense of gain,happiness and security.This article adopts the method of literature research,historical analysis,comparative analysis,theory and practice,and through the combing of relevant documents,it conducts a systematic study on the formation,main content and contemporary value of Marx’s social security thought.Marx’s social security ideology is based on the background of the rapid development of the capitalist economy and the intensification of the contradictions between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie.It critically absorbs the human development ideas in German classical philosophy,the labor value theory and utopias in British classical political economy.Formed on the basis of the idea of a harmonious society in socialism,its development has gone through three stages,namely the exploratory period in the 1840s and 50s,the maturity period in the 1850s and 70s,and the perfection period in the 1870s and 80s..The main content of Marx’s social security thought involves two aspects.On the one hand,it is a critique of capitalist social security,that is,the object of capitalist social security is not universal,the fund is derived from surplus value,and the purpose is to alleviate class contradictions;on the other hand,It is the conception of socialist social security,that is,the object of socialist social security is all members of society,the fund comes from the social wealth created by the people,the ultimate goal is to promote the all-round development of people,the basic requirement is to be compatible with social productivity and social security The implementation needs to rely on the law to guarantee.Marx’s social security thought not only deepened the national theory,social development theory,and the theory of human all-round development,but also provided conceptual support,value compliance and practical guidance for the development of my country’s social security cause.In the process of building a social security system,China must standardize the management of social security funds,and establish a multi-level sustainable social security system that is compatible with productivity and balances urban and rural development. |
