Research On Long-term Care Model For Disabled Elderly In Community

The intensification of aging has brought enormous challenges to the existing old-age care model for the elderly.As a necessary stage for the elderly to live in their later years,the need for care services is met,which is the process of constructing the long-term care model.In order to cope with the growing care needs of the elderly,China has formed a care model with family care as the mainstay,community support and institutional care.However,with the extension of the life expectancy of the elderly,the change of family structure,the participation of social support subjects in the elderly services and the improvement of the status of the elderly,the traditional family care model has gradually declined.Community-based care supports the collaborative care of the subjects.The pattern is forming.In order to explore the practice of long-term care model for the elderly with disability in the context of active aging,this study attempts to reconstruct the long-term care model for the elderly with disability.Relying on the community to achieve the collaborative service of the care subject can provide continuous care for the disabled disabled in the life cycle of disability,give full play to the functional advantages of different care mains to meet the diversified care needs of the disabled elderly,but lack the cooperation and care resources in the current supply subject In the context of shortages,it is inevitable to face the development of “multi-resistance” in the care mode of disabled elderly people.Therefore,reconstructing the long-term care model of disabled elderly people based on the existing community pension care resources is an inevitable choice to improve the current situation of imbalance between supply and demand of long-term care for the disabled and to improve the happiness of the disabled elderly in the background of active aging.First of all,through adhering to the three principles of service synergy,supply and demand synergy and subject synergy,this paper proposes to establish a city based on the needs assessment of disability old people’s disability level,community multi-support subject collaborative supply system and grading and multi-stage care services.The long-term care model for the disabled elderly in the community;secondly,the Xiangeli community in Xiamen was selected as the survey object,and the long-term care model reconstructed in this paper was further verified by the analysis method of questionnaire and interview,and the elderly disabled for long-term care was deeply understood.The status quo of service demand and community care support the status quo of the main care supply.Combining theory,research,and foreign experience,this paper proposes that the implementation of long-term care services for the elderly with disability should establish a long-term care needs assessment mechanism for disabled elderly,including establishing a professional needs assessment system for disabled seniors,and establishing a feedback mechanism for disabled elderly needs.Establish a collaborative mechanism for community care support entities,including the establishment of supportive policies by the government,strengthen the integration of community care resources,improve the supply and supply capacity of care,and empower the disabled elderly to choose autonomy in long-term care,including improving the disability level of disabled disabled people.To improve the main status of disabled elderly and achieve active aging.
